DETAILS OF TIGER EXPRESS
Tiger Express is launched by Railway Minister Shri. Suresh Prabhu on World Environment Day i.e 5th June, 2016. It is a semi-luxury tourist train launched to spread awareness among people regarding tiger conservation. It is launched by Indian Railway in collaboration with IRCTC. The price of the trip staring from Rs.38500/-. The duration of the trip is 05 Nights and 06 Days. Tiger Express is like Rajdhani type AC trains and other road transportation by AC vehicles. It will cover Bandhavgarh and Kanha in MP and including the visit to Dhuadhar Falls of Bhedaghat/Jabalpur in 05 nights and 06 days. Form October onwards the monthly trips of Tiger Express will start. FARE DETAILS
The 5 days-6 nights trip includes three Tiger Safaris. The entire trip has a tariff structure starting from Rs 38,500.
For traveling in AC first class, the tariff has been fixed at Rs 49,500 for single occupancy, Rs 45,500 for double occupancy, Rs 44,900 for triple occupancy, and Rs 39,500 for a child with bed (5-11 years).
The fares for those traveling in AC 2-tier are Rs 43,500 for single occupancy, Rs 39,000 for double occupancy, Rs 38,500 for triple occupancy, and Rs 33,500 for a child with bed (5-11 years). However, these rates are valid for Indian citizens only. An additional surcharge of Rs 4,000 per person will be charged from foreigners for the Safari booking at Bandhagarh and Kanha.
