Mumbai Rain : Train Updates
The services of Mumbai local trains are likely to get affected on Tuesday (17.07.2018) as city residents faced yet another endless rainfall that led to water logging and over flooding of railway tracks.
For the citizens of Mumbai, this year’s monsoon has been marked by pothole-related accidents, a bridge collapse and frequent reports of severe waterlogging in many areas.
As per Newspaper report, just one month into the monsoon, the maximum city has already witnessed 38 deaths compared with 26 deaths in rain-related incidents last year. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report shows around 1,700 rain-related incidents, from house collapses to drowning, have been reported since 1 June.

Update at 02.30 hrs: Rail Traffic restored at Kanalus. Ensuring the safety of passengers, first 3 Goods Train were passed and then T/N 19567 Tuticorin-Okha Vivek Express is the first passenger train which passed on line no. 4 at Kanalus station at 02.26 hrs on 18.07.18

At 08.30 PM: Train no. 19251 Somnath-Okha Express starting from Somnath on 17.07.18 is short terminated at Rajkot and remain cancelled between Rajkot-Okha and reverse as 19252 ex Rajkot to Somnath with Second AC instead of First Class AC Coach.

At 06.05 PM: MG trns in Bhavnagar Division are cancelled till further advice as railway tracks affected adversely by heavy rains. On 16/7,psngrs of 52950 were ferried in 3 buses and served snacks/food after they were evacuated with help of NDRF team as flooding bet Prachi Rd-Delvada
At 06.15 PM: Rail traffic has been suspended between Okha-Jamnagar following breaches on tracks due to very heavy rains. Material has been arranged at the site to carry the restoration at war footing.
At 03.58 PM: WR is arranging buses for transporting passengers of 22946 Saurashtra Mail (which is short terminated at Khambhaliya) from Khambhaliya to Jamnagar as rail traffic suspended at Kanalus Station in view of breaches on tracks due to very heavy rains.
At 03.20 PM: 22946 Okha-Mumbai Central Saurashtra Mail of 16/7/18 is short terminated at Khambhaliya.Also, 22945 Mumbai-Okha Saurashtra Mail is short terminated at Jamnagar. Now it will run as 22946 from Jamnagar for Mumbai Central as Saurashtra Mail on 17.07.18
At 03.15 PM: Passengers please note, following very heavy rains, some trains have been affected as under due to breaches at Kanalus yard/Station in Rajkot Division. Efforts for restoration are in full swing inspite of bad weather.

At 03.00 PM: Due to water logging in Kanalus Yard, the soil formation under the lines is washed out in Rajkot Division. Hence, rail traffic has been suspended at Kanalus. 22945 Saurashtra Mail and 59206 Porbander – Kanalus Passenger are also short terminated and reversed for Porbander.
At 02.20 PM: As rail traffic has been suspended at Kanalus Yard due to track wash out following very heavy rains, 16734 Okha-Rambagar Express and 18401 Puri – Okha Express which were regulated at various stns, hv been short terminated and being reversed to Porbander
At 02.00 PM: Due to water logging in Kanalus Yard, the soil formation under the lines is washed out in Rajkot Division. Hence, rail traffic has been suspended at Kanalus.

Passengers to please note that 19023 Mumbai Central – Firozpur Janata Express of 15th July, 2018 (Scheduled departure 07.25 hrs) is rescheduled at 11.30 hrs on 15.07.18 from Mumbai Central.

As coaches of 12009/10 Shatabdi Express are under repair after stuck in heavy rains at NSP, WR ran Special rake replacing chair cars with AC3 tier coaches from 13/7/18. Adequate staff were deployed to help passengers find their berth/coach.Regular coaches will be reintroduced in phased manner

At 09: 10 AM : 19217 BandraT -Jamnagar of 12.07.18 will depart from its scheduled departing station ie Bandra Terminus.
At 09: 05 AM : Suburban services are running between Churchgate and Dahanu Road with some delay due to technical issue/speed restriction at Nallasopara and Vasai Road.
At 09: 00 AM : Train No. 19708 Jaipur-BandraT arriving Mumbai on 11.7.18 will be terminated at Borivali.
At 08: 55 AM : 19707 BandraT -Jaipur of 12.07.18 will depart from its scheduled departing station ie Bandra Terminus.
At 08: 50 AM : Today on 12/07/18, all WR suburban local services between Churchgate to Dahanu Road will be operated as per their schedule.
At 08: 45 AM : Train no. 16333 Veraval – Thiruvanantpuram Central Express of 12.07.18 has been rescheduled to depart 13 hours & 35 minutes late from Veraval at 18.00 hrs instead of its regular time of 04.25 hrs due to late arrival of its pairing rake by 20 hours.
At 08: 40 AM : WR suburban services are running normal between Churchgate and Dahanu Road.

At 04: 10 PM : Train no. 22927 Bandra Terminus – Ahmedabad Lok Shakti Express of 11.07.18 ( Sch. Dep. 19.40 hrs ) has been rescheduled at 21.30 hrs.
At 04: 05 PM : All 4 lines bet Vasai Rd-Virar working. Local trns running from Churchgate to Dahanu Rd with speed restriction in Nallasopara-Virar. WR thanks its commuters for bearing with us.

At 11: 25 AM : Train No. 19708 Jaipur – Bandra Terminus Aravali Express of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Dahanu Road and will be reversed as Train No. 19707 from Dahanu Road at 22.50 hrs.
At 11: 23 AM : Train No. 22956 Bhuj – Bandra Terminus Kutch Express of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Valsad and will be reversed as Train No. 22955 from Valsad at 20.48 hrs.
At 11: 20 AM : Train No. 12972 Bhavnagar – Bandra Terminus Express of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Vapi and will be reversed as Train No. 19217 from Navsari at 20.05 hrs.
At 11: 15 AM : Train No. 12902 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Gujarat Mail of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Navsari and will be reversed as Train No. 12901 from Navsari at 01.40 hrs of 12.07.18
At 11: 10 AM : Train No. 19218 Jamnagar – Bandra Terminus Sau Janata Express of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Palghar and will be reversed as Train No. 12971 from Palghar at 22.55 hrs.
At 10: 45 AM : To facilitate Mumbai bound commuters, additional halts were given to 19040 Awadh Exp, 12926 Paschim Exp & 19042 Gazipur City-Bandra T Exp at stations between Dahanu Road – Virar. However, suburban services are running normal between Virar – Dahanu Road now
At 10: 40 AM : 6th local train since morning left Virar at 10.20 hrs towards Churchgate. 8.50 hrs local from Churchgate extended from Vasai Road to Virar in down direction.
At 10: 22 AM : Train No. 19332 Indore – Kochuveli Express of 10.07.18 has been diverted via Surat-Jalgaon.
At 10: 20 AM : Train No. 59439 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Passenger of 11.07.18 has been cancelled.

At 10: 10 AM : All mail express trains coming towards Mumbai will halt at Virar, Nalasopara and Vasai. Passengers are allowed to travel in general coaches of these trains.
At 10: 05 AM : Suburban trains running normal between Churchgate – Bhayander and Virar- Dahanu Road sections. Trains being run towards Churchgate from Virar at 10 kmph in affected section. Dn trains going upto Bhayander.
At 09: 58 AM : Train No. 14707 Bikaner – Bandra Terminus Ranakpur Express of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Valsad and remain cancelled between Valsad-Bandra Terminus.
At 09: 56 AM : Train No. 12215 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Bandra Terminus Garib Rath of 10.07.18 has been short terminated at Vadodara and remain cancelled between Vadodara-Bandra Terminus.
At 09: 55 AM : Train No. 19023 Mumbai Central – Firozpur Cantt Janata Express of 11.07.18 has been cancelled between Mumbai Central-Valsad.
At 09: 50 AM : Train No.71093 Vasai Road – Diva DEMU of 11.07.18 will run on right time Ex Vasai Road.
At 09: 40 AM : Train No.71088 Boisar – Vasai Road DEMU of 11.07.18 has been cancelled.
At 09: 35 AM : Suburban services are running normal between Churchgate & Bhayandar. However, 5 locals have been run from Virar since morning for Churchgate on Up slow line at restricted speed of 10kmph in affected section. But Dn direction trains are running upto Bhayander only
At 09: 30 AM : Train Nos 12952, 19019, 12009,12010 & 09004 leaving Mumbai on 11.07.2018 have been cancelled.
