Kolkata Suburban Tourist Train Tickets
For the convenience of tourists intending to travel from any station to any station on the suburban sections of Eastern Railway for any number of times, tourist tickets in suburban sections over Eastern Railway have been implemented w.e.f 20.12.2019.
Fare Details
The Basic fare and validity in Second Class are following
| Second Class for 1 day | Rs.50/- |
| Second Class for 3 day | Rs.94/- |
| Second Class for 5 days | Rs.116/- |
Basic Fare is to be rounded off to next higher multiple Rs 5/- (wherever required)
Main Features
Salient features of tourist ticket
- The basic fare of child tickets shall be half of the basic fares, rounded off to next higher multiple of Rs.5/- wherever required.
- The ticket will be valid for (a) one day (in case of 1 day tickets), (b) 3 days (in case of 3 day tickets) and 5 days (in case of 5 days) wherever required to travel any number of times, from any station to any station on the suburban sections of Eastern Railway. These tickets will be valid upto mid-night of their date of validity.
- These tickets can be issued maximum 3 days in advance, excluding the first day of validity.
- No concession shall be admissible to anyone on these tickets.
