IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) decided to promote the sale of Handicrafts, the preserver of traditional art, heritage and culture of our county through a novel way. IRCTC decided to promote the sale of Handicraft of State/Central Government and Affiliated corporates through its website. IRCTC is planning to use the popularity of the website to the promotion of the traditional sector. A good initiative by IRCTC. IRCTC announced this through its website. Handicrafts in India, Promotion Policy by IRCTC are following.
IRCTC operates four websites, Reserved Rail e-Ticketing, Tourism, e-Catering and Air Ticketing. IRCTC hopes that these websites have the potential of capturing a huge number of customers. Following are the norms and conditions of the policy.
Policy for the integration of “Online Handicraft Websites on IRCTC Website -2017”
Interested/ willing Handicrafts websites of State/Central Government Ministries/ or affiliated Corporates/SHGs may be integrated on IRCTC Website through Tab (HyperLink) for promoting the online sale of Handicrafts through their websites, subject to fulfilment of the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria are following. Any State/Central Government Ministries /Departments or affiliated Corporates/ Self Help Group with their own website for the sale of Handicrafts shall be eligible.
- For Any State/Central Government Ministries /Departments or affiliated Corporates: Proposal shall be sent by State/Central Government Office Ministries /Departments or affiliated Corporates duly signed by authorised signatory of concerned Official of State/Central Government.
- For Self Help Groups : A letter of recommendation from the State/Central unit of NABARD that applicant is authorized Self Help Group and its web site can be linked to the IRCTC web sites.
Charges
Applicable charges for each website are following
- For Any State/Central Government Ministries /Departments or affiliated Corporates
- IRCTC Website for Reserved Rail e-Ticketing Services. www.irctc.co.in – Rs. 5 Lakhs + Service Tax, per Annum.
- IRCTC Website for Air Ticketing Services. www.air.irctc.co.in – Rs. 3 Lakhs + Service Tax, per Annum.
- IRCTC Website for Catering Services. www.ecatering.irctc.co.in – Rs. 2 Lakhs + Service Tax, per Annum
- IRCTC Website for Tourism Services. www.irctctourism.com – Rs. 2 Lakhs + Service Tax, per Annum.
- For Self Help Groups
- IRCTC Website for Air Ticketing Services. www.air.irctc.co.in – Rs. 10,000 + Service Tax, per Annum.
- IRCTC Website for Catering Services. www.ecatering.irctc.co.in – Rs. 10,000 + Service Tax, per Annum .
- IRCTC Website for Tourism Services. www.irctctourism.com – Rs. 10,000 + Service Tax, per Annum.
