MAJOR TRAIN BLOCKS 2019

Indian Railway is conducting major train blocks for various reasons including rail maintenance, over bridge maintenance, platform renovation, doubling works, due to heavy rain etc. Even though we are updating the train cancellation details daily in some other pages, for more conveniences of readers we decided to mention the full details of the blocks with mentioning of station name , date, name of the railway zone which announced the blocks etc.

However Railway is causing inconvenience to the passengers, they are eager to restore the cancelled trains as early as possible. Here we are uploading major train blocks by various zones of Indian Railway under one page on day to day basis.

NEW DELHI – TILAK BRIDGE STATION : NON – INTERLOCKING WORK TRAIN BLOCK : UPTO 22.07.2019

Northern Railway announced that due to non – interlocking work at Tilak Bridge station in connection with 5th and 6th line between New Delhi and Tilak Bridge stations there will be a traffic blocks upto 22.07.2019. Many trains will cancelled/diverted/partially cancelled/regulated. Following are the details.

NEW DELHI – TILAK BRIDGE STATION : NON – INTERLOCKING WORK TRAIN BLOCK : UPTO 22.07.2019

MAHIM : SPECIAL BLOCK : 20/21.07.2019

Central Railway announced that a special block at Mahim o­n 20/21.07.2019 (Saturday/Sunday midnight) from 00.00 hrs to 04.00 hrs will be operated by Western Railway for providing sheathing for pipe below PSC girder of Dharavi Road over bridge.

Last Dn local o­n harbour line will be CSMT-Bandra local CSMT departed 23.22 hrs and last UP local CSMT-Andheri local Andheri departed 23.29 hrs o­n 20.07.2019

Following Harbour Line services will be cancelled o­n 20/21.07.2019

Dn Trains

  • Dn local for Andheri leaving CSMT at 23.38 hrs. and for Bandra leaving CSMT at 00.36 hrs will be cancelled.

UP Trains

  • UP local for CSMT leaving Andheri at 23.52 hrs. and leaving at 00.28 hrs will be cancelled.

GUNTAKAL SECTION : TRAFFIC BLOCK : 19.07.2019 – 07.10.2019

South Central Railway due to traffic block for track renovation works in Guntakal section, the following trains are cancelled/partially cancelled as detailed below:

Trains Cancelled:

  • Train No. 77416 Guntakal – Bellary DEMU is cancelled from 19th July, 2019 to 07th October, 2019 except o­n Thursdays.
  • Train No. 77417 Bellary – Guntakal DEMU is cancelled from 19th July, 2019 to 07th October, 2019 except o­n Thursdays.

Trains Partially Cancelled

  • Train No. 57477 Tirupati – Kadiridevarapalli passenger is partially cancelled between Guntakal – Kadiridevarapalli from18th July, 2019 to 06th October, 2019 except o­n Wednesdays.
  • Train No. 57478 Kadiridevarapalli – Tirupati passenger is partially cancelled between Kadiridevarapalli – Guntakal from 19th July, 2019 to 07th October, 2019 except o­n Thursdays.

SULLURUPETA – POLIREDDIPALEM : TRACK MAINTENANCE WORKS : 22.07.2019 AND 27.07.2019

South Central Railway due to track maintenance works o­n 22nd and 27th July, 2019 between Sullurupeta and Polireddipalem stations the following trains are cancelled / regulated as detailed below: –

Cancellation:

  • Train No. 66029 Sullurupeta – Nellore MEMU passenger scheduled to depart Sullurupeta o­n 22ndand 27th July, 2019 is cancelled.
  • Train No. 66030 Nellore – Sullurupeta MEMU passenger scheduled to depart Nellore o­n 22nd and 27th July, 2019 is cancelled.

Regulated:

  • Train No. 12515 Thiruvananthapuram – Silchar Express scheduled to depart Thiruvananthapuram o­n 21st July, 2019 will be regulated for 1 hr and 30 minutes.
  • Train No. 12269 Chennai Central – H. Nizamuddin Duronto Express scheduled to depart Chennai Central o­n 22ndJuly, 2019 will be regulated for 1 hr and 30 minutes.
  • Train No. 12077 Chennai Central – Vijayawada Jan Shatabdi Express scheduled to depart Chennai Central o­n 22nd July, 2019 will be regulated for 1 hr.
  • Train No. 12842 Chennai Central – Howrah Coromandel Express scheduled to depart Chennai Central o­n 22ndJuly, 2019 will be regulated for 20 minutes.
  • Train No. 66037 Sullurupeta – Nellore MEMU passenger scheduled to depart Sullurupeta o­n 22ndJuly, 2019 will be regulated for 20 minutes.

JAIPUR : PRE NON-INTERLOCKING and NON-INTERLOCKING WORKS : 25.08.2019

South Central Railway due to Pre Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking works of Jaipur Railway Station yard remodeling in North Western Railway, the following trains are cancelled / partially cancelled / diverted as detailed below: –

Cancellation:

  • Train No. 14815 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Tambaram Humsafar Express scheduled to depart Bhagat Ki Kothi o­n 21st August, 2019 is cancelled.
  • Train No. 14816 Tambaram – Bhagat Ki Kothi Humsafar Express scheduled to depart Tambaram o­n 23rdAugust, 2019 is cancelled.
  • Train No. 16863 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Mannargudi Weekly Express scheduled to depart Bhagat Ki Kothi o­n 22nd August, 2019 is cancelled.
  • Train No. 16864 Mannargudi – Bhagat Ki Kothi Weekly Express scheduled to depart Mannargudi o­n 19th August, 2019 is cancelled.

Partial Cancellation:

  • Train No. 12719 Jaipur – Hyderabad Express scheduled to depart Jaipur o­n 14th, 16th, 21st and 23rd August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Jaipur and Ajmer stations.
  • Train No. 12790 Hyderabad – Jaipur Express scheduled to depart Hyderabad o­n 12th, 14th, 19th and 21st August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Ajmer and Jaipur stations.
  • Train No. 17019 Jaipur – Hyderabad Weekly Express scheduled to depart Jaipur o­n 13th and 20th August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Jaipur and Ajmer stations.
  • Train No. 17020 Hyderabad – Jaipur Weekly Express scheduled to depart Hyderabad o­n 10th and 17th August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Ajmer and Jaipur stations.
  • Train No. 82653 Yesvantpur – Jaipur Suvidha Express scheduled to depart Yesvantpur o­n 15th and 22nd August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Ajmer and Jaipur stations.
  • Train No. 82654 Jaipur – Yesvantpur Suvidha Express scheduled to depart Jaipur o­n 17th and 24th August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Jaipur and Ajmer stations.
  • Train No. 02731 Hyderabad – Jaipur Special Train scheduled to depart Hyderabad o­n 16th and 23rd August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Ajmer and Jaipur stations.
  • Train No. 02732 Jaipur – Hyderabad Special Train scheduled to depart Jaipur o­n 18th and 25th August, 2019 is partially cancelled between Jaipur and Ajmer stations.

Diversion:

  • Train No. 22631 Madurai – Bikaner Anuvrat Express scheduled to depart Madurai o­n 22nd August, 2019 is diverted to run via Kota, Chanderiya, Ajmer, Phulera and Merta Rd stations.
  • Train No. 22632 Bikaner – Madurai Anuvrat Express scheduled to depart Bikaner o­n 25th August, 2019 is diverted to run via Merta Rd, Phulera, Ajmer, Chanderiya and Kota stations.

BENGALURU DIVISION : YARD REMODELING WORKS : 08.08.2019

South Central Railway announce that due to Yard remodeling works in Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway the following trains are partially cancelled as detailed below:

Train Partially Cancelled:

  • From – To : Sambalpur Jn – Banaswadi Special Train
  • Journey Commencing o­n : 24th, 31st July, 7th August, 2019
  • Trains Partially Cancelled between: Krishnarajapura – Banaswadi

South Western Railway also announced that following trains will be cancelled / rescheduled due to Baiyyappanahalli yard remodeling work over Bengaluru Division as detailed below: –

PARTIAL CANCELLATION:

  • Train No. 08301 Sambalpur – Banaswadi Express commencing journey o­n 24.07.2019, 31.07.2019 and 07.08.2019 will be partially cancelled between Krishnarajapuram – Banaswadi.
  • Train No. 08302 Banaswadi – Sambalpur Express commencing journey o­n 25.07.2019, 01.08.2019 and 08.08.2019 will be partially cancelled between Banaswadi – Krishnarajapuram.

RESCHEDULE:

  • Train No. 16585 Yesvantpur – Mangaluru Central Express scheduled to leave 16:30 hrs o­n 18.07.2019, 25.07.2019 and 01.08.2019 will be rescheduled to leave at 20:30 hrs.

JAMNAGAR-RAJKOT: ENGINEERING WORK TRAIN BLOCK : 15.07.2019 – 31.07.2019

Western Railway announced that in Jamnagar-Rajkot section, some trains from Porbandar will run through a change route due to electrification and Engineering Work in Jamnagar-Rajkot section. Details are following.


KARUR – VIRARAKKIYAM : LINE BLOCK/POWER BLOCK : UPTO 24.09.2019

South Central Railway announced that due to line block and power block between Karur-Virarakkiyam stations o­n Southern Railway the following trains are regulated as detailed below: –

Regulated

  • Train No. 16354 Nagercoil-Kacheguda Weekly Express will be regulated for 65 minutes between Tiruchchirappalli and Virarakkiyam stations o­n 16th, 23rd and 30th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 16354 Nagercoil-Kacheguda Weekly Express will be regulated for 60 minutes between Tiruchchirappalli and Mayanoor stations o­n 6th August, 2019.
  • Train No. 16354 Nagercoil-Kacheguda Weekly Express will be regulated for 55 minutes between Tiruchchirappalli and Lalapet stations o­n 13th August, 2019.
  • Train No. 16354 Nagercoil-Kacheguda Weekly Express will be regulated for 60 minutes between Tiruchchirappalli and Kulitalai stations o­n 20th, 27th August, 3rd, 10th September, 2019.
  • Train No. 16354 Nagercoil-Kacheguda Weekly Express will be regulated for 60 minutes between Tiruchchirappalli and Pettaivayatalai stations o­n 17th and 24th September, 2019.

ELAVUR YARD : TRACK MAINTENANCE WORK : UPTO 20.07.2019

South Central Railway announced that due to track maintenance work at Elavur Yard o­n Southern Railway the following trains are cancelled/regulated as detailed below: –

Cancellation

  • Train No. 66029 Sullurupeta-Nellore MEMU passenger is cancelled from 13th to 20th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 66030 Nellore-Sullurupeta MEMU passenger is cancelled from 13th to 20th July, 2019.

Regulation

  • Train No. 13351 Dhanbad-Allappuzha Bokaro Express will be regulated for 2 hrs 45 minutes o­n 11th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 24th and 25th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 12656 Chennai Central-Ahmedabad Navjeevan Express will be regulated for 1 hr and 30 minutes o­n 13th and 20th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 02841 Santragachi-Chennai Central Special Train will be regulated for 1 hr and 40 minutes o­n 12th and 19th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 12841 Howrah-Chennai Central Coromandel Express will be regulated for 45 minutes o­n 12th and 19th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 12712 Chennai Central-Vijayawada Pinakini Express will be regulated for 30 minutes o­n 13th and 20th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 13575 Tambaram-Jasidih Weekly Express will be regulated for 30 minutes o­n 13th and 20th July, 2019.

BERHAMPUR COURT STATIONS : TRAFFIC AND POWER BLOCK : 13/14.07.2019

Eastern Railway announced that there will be a Traffic and Power Block at Berhampur court stations for launching new FOB


ROURKELA SECTIONS : SAFETY RELATED : UPTO 31.07.2019

South Eastern Railway announced that in view of safety related developmental works in Rourkela-Bilaspur-Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Rourkela sections, the following trains will be cancelled/short terminated/short originated/rescheduled :—

  • 68028 Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU Passenger will remain cancelled from Sambalpur upto 31.07.2019.

SHORT TERMINATION / SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS:

  • 58111 Tatanagar-Itwari Passenger leaving Tatanagar every Saturday will be short terminated at Jharsuguda and will run back as 58112 Itwari-Tatanagar Passenger from Jharsuguda by rescheduling 1 hour from Jharsuguda upto 31.07.2019. Therefore, 58111/58112 will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda-Itwari-Jharsuguda.
  • 58112 Itwari-Tatanagar Passenger leaving Itwari every Friday will remain cancelled between Itwari-Jharsuguda upto 31.07.2019.
  • 58113 Tatanagar-Bilaspur Passenger leaving Tatanagar every Wednesday and Saturday will be short terminated at Jharsuguda and will run back as 58114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Passenger from Jharsuguda upto 31.07.2019. Therefore, 58113/58114 will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Jharsuguda every Thursday and Sunday.
  • 58114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Passenger leaving Bilaspur every Thursday and Sunday will remain cancelled between Bilaspur-Jharsuguda upto 01.08.2019.

RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS:

  • 18310 Jammu Tawi-Muri-Sambalpur Link Express will leave Muri at 12.40 hrs. instead of 08.10 hrs. every Wednesday and Saturday upto 31.07.2019.
  • 18309 Sambalpur-Muri-Jammu Tawi Link Express will leave Sambalpur at 11.55 hrs. instead of 07.55 hrs. every Wednesday and Saturday upto 31.07.2019.
  • 18107 Rourkela-Jagdalpur Express will leave Rourkela at 19.10 hrs. instead of 18.10 hrs. every Wednesday and Saturday upto 31.07.2019.
  • 18189 Tatanagar-Alappuzha Link Express will leave Tatanagar at 16.30 hrs. instead of 15.30 hrs. every Wednesday and Saturday upto 31.07.2019.
  • 18101 Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express will leave Tatanagar at 18.50 hrs. instead of 14.50 hrs. every Wednesday and Saturday upto 31.07.2019.

BHUPUR STATION : TRAIN BLOCK : UPTO 15.07.2019

North Central Railway announced that it is informed by the Railway Administration that the complete cancellation , partial cancellation / orientation and regulation of various trains due to the yard remodeling work being done at Bhaupur station of the Kanpur-Tundla section of Allahabad Circle is being done.   • Train No.12307 Howrah-Jodhpur ( daily ) will be regulated for 90 minutes between Fatehpur – Pani Dham .
  • Train No.12875 Full-Anand Vihar (T) ( three days a week ) will be regulated for the 80 minutes between Lucknow-Pani Dham .
  • Train No.18631 Ranchi-Ajmer Jn. ( Weekly ) New Delhi – Fatehpur-Panki Dham will be regulated for 80 ” minutes.
  • Cart No. 12398 New Delhi-Gaya ( daily ) will be regulated between Rura-Matha for 15 ” minutes.

North Central Railway announced that the general public is informed by the railway administration that the platform no. Of Bareli station of Moradabad Circle 2 The cancellation , partial cancellation , alteration , and rescheduling of various trains for the construction of the ballast track and the repair of washable apron on the platform no. 1 of the Lucknow station . Western Railway announced that the east side north staircase near Elevated Booking office of Mumbai Central (North) Foot Over Bridge will be closed from 22nd June, 2019. Commuters may use staircase of the same FOB near main line platform no 5.


SECUNDERABAD – DHONE : TRAFFIC BLOCK : UPTO 13.07.2019

South Central Railway announced that Traffic block imposed in order to facilitate track maintenance works between Itikyala- Manopad Stations o­n Secunderabad – Dhone Section from 2nd June to 13th July, 2019. Consequently, the following Passenger/Express Trains o­n the dates mentioned are regulated/rescheduled as detailed below: –

  • Train No.57425 Kacheguda – Guntakal Passenger will be regulated between Kacheguda – Itikyala stations for 1 Hour 24 Minutes o­n 23rd, 25th, 30th June, 2nd, 7th and 9th July, 2019.
  • Train No.17024 Kurnool City – Secunderabad Tungabhadra Express will be regulated between Kurnool City – Manopad stations for 20 Minutes o­n 23rd, 25th, 30th June, 2nd, 7th and 9th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 57426 Guntakal – Kacheguda Passenger will be regulated between Guntakal – Manopad stations for 2 Hours 45 Minutes o­n 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th June, 4th, 6th, 11th and 13th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 77282 Kacheguda – Guntur DEMU Passenger will be regulated between Kacheguda – Itikyala stations for 51 Minutes o­n 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th June, 4th, 6th, 11th and 13th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 17023 Secunderabad – Kurnool City Tungabhadra express will be regulated between Gadwal – Manopad stations for 20 Minutes o­n 20th, 27th June, 4th and 11th July, 2019.

TRAFFIC BLOCK : SCR : UPTO 27.09.2019

South Central Railway announced that in view of track maintenance works a traffic block was imposed due to this block the following trains are cancelled/partially cancelled as detailed below: –

  • Train No. 22416 New Delhi-Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh AC Super fast Express is cancelled o­n 16th June, 2019 due to cancellation of its pairing train.
  • Train No. 51422 Nizamabad-Pune Passenger is cancelled from 15th June to 5th July, 2019 and 15th July to 25th September, 2019.
  • Train No. 51421 Pune-Nizamabad Passenger is cancelled from 15th June to 6th July, 2019 and 15th July to 26th September, 2019.
  • Train No. 51433 Nizamabad-Pandharpur Passenger is cancelled from 16th June to 7th July, 2019 and 16th July to 27th September, 2019.

South Central Railway announced that due to safety related works / operational reasons the following passenger trains are Partially Cancelled as detailed below: –

  • Train No. 57474 Bodhan – Mahbubnagar passenger train is partially cancelled between Shadnagar and Mahbubnagar stations from 12th June to 12th August, 2019.
  • Train No. 57456 Mahbubnagar – Kacheguda passenger train is partially cancelled between Mahbubnagar and Shadnagar stations from 12th June to 12th August, 2019.
  • Train No. 57307 Kacheguda-Medchal passenger is partially cancelled between Bolarum and Medchal from 10th June to 10th August, 2019.
  • Train No. 57308 Medchal – Kacheguda passenger is partially cancelled between Medchal and Bolarum from 10th June to 10th August, 2019.

MARINE LINE FOB CLOSED : FROM 08.06.2019

Western Railway announced that Railway has commissioned new FOB at Marine Lines (Middle) from 31st May, 2019 on replacement basis. This new FOB connects all the platforms of Marine Lines station. Therefore, the old existing middle FOB will be closed for public from 8th June, 2019


TIRUPPUR – ERODE SECTION : LINE BLOCK : 01.06.2019 – 23.07.2019

South Western Railway announced that Train as detailed below will be Regulated due to extension of Line Block for railway related work between Perundurai – Totiyapalayam and Ingur – Perundurai block section over Tiruppur – Erode section o­n up line from 01.06.2019 to 23.07.2019.

  • Train No. 12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express commencing journey from Ernakulam from 01.06.2019 to 06.06.2019 and 08.06.2019 to 10.06.2019 will be regulated for 30 minutes, between Coimbatore – Uttukuli.
  • Train No. 12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express commencing journey from Ernakulam o­n every Friday from 07.06.2019 to 19.07.2019 will be regulated for 40 minutes, between Coimbatore – Uttukuli.
  • Train No. 12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express commencing journey from Ernakulam o­n all days except Friday from 11.06.2019 to 23.07.2019 will be regulated for 25 minutes between Coimbatore – Uttukuli..

CLOSURE OF BEASANT NAGAR PASSENGER RESERVATION CENTRE and OPENING OF NEW PRS COUNTER AT KASTURBA NAGAR RAILWAY STATION

Southern Railway announced that the Passenger Reservation Centre at Rajaji Nagar, in Beasant Nagar will be closed with effect from 19.05.2019 (SUNDAY) o­nwards due to administrative reasons. In lieu of this, a new PRS Counter will be opened o­n and from 20th May 2019 at Kasturba Nagar Railway Station o­n MRTS Section.

The new PRS counter at Kasturba Nagar Railway Station will function in two shifts to the following timings :-

  • Morning Shift : 08.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs.
  • Evening Shift : 14.15 hrs to 20.00 hrs.

TRAFFIC BLOCKS : NERAL – MATHERAN SECTION : FROM 20.05.2019

Central Railway announced that Railway will decided to operate special traffic blocks o­n Neral – Matheran section for various engineering works from Monday to Friday except public holidays from 20.5.2019 onwards till further advice. VIDYAVIHAR – GURU TEG BAHADUR NAGAR STATIONS : CLOSURE FOOT OVER BRIDGE : FROM 30.04.2019

Central Railway announced that Staircase of two old Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), o­ne each at Vidyavihar and Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar station will be closed for public use from 30.04.2019.

At Vidyavihar station, the old 2.44 metre steel ‘N’ type FOB at CSMT end and connecting to Vidyavihar station East to West and staircase access to Platform No. 1 and 2 will be closed from 30.04.2019, as the new 5 metre FOB constructed parallel and adjacent to the old FOB is already opened for Public Use. Passengers are requested to use the newly opened FOB.

At Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar (GTBN) station, the old 2.44 metre steel ‘N’ type FOB at Kurla end connecting GTBN Station East and staircase access to Platform No. 1 and 2 will be closed from 30.04.2019, as the new 6 metre wide FOB constructed parallel and adjacent to the old FOB is already opened for Public Use. Passengers are requested to use the newly opened FOB.

South Central Railway announced that due to Engineering and safety related maintenance work the following trains are cancelled/partially cancelled as detailed below: –

  • Train No. 77241 Narasapur – Rajahmundry DEMU passenger is partially cancelled between Nidadavolu and Rajahmundry stations from 21st April to 15th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77242 Rajahmundry – Bhimavaram DEMU is partially cancelled between Rajahmundry and Nidadavolu from 22nd April to 16th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77293 Bhimavaram – Rajahmundry DEMU is partially cancelled between Nidadavolu and Rajahmundry from 21st April to 15th May, 2019.

CLOSURE OF FOB OF MUMBAI SUBURBAN SECTION : 13.04.2019 to 11.07.2019

Western Railway announced that a new 10 metre wide FOB (Foot Over Bridge) has been commissioned at Nallasopara station (North) on 6th April, 2019 on the account of replacing the old one. Hence, the south staircase on platform No.4 of old FOB will be closed from 13th April, 2019 for passengers use to improve circulating area of staircase of new FOB. The North staircase of existing FOB is also available for passengers. 

Similarly, a new 10 metre wide FBO has been commissioned at Naigaon station on 6th April, 2019 on the account of replacing the old one. Hence, the existing old FOB wlll now be closed from 13th April, 2019 and commuters may make use of the new FOB

The staircase (East/South) from Tilak Road Over Bridge at Dadar statin will remain closed for 3 months for major repairing/strengthening work with effect from 13.04.2019 to 11.07.2019. During this period passengers may use the new FOB on North side including the East skywalk to east side circulating area. 


VILE PARLE STATION : FOB CLOSED : UPTO JULY

Western Railway announced that West side two spans of South Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Vile Parle station of Mumbai Suburban section of Western Railway will remain close for 3 months for major repairing with effect from 6th April, 2019. This FOB will remain open for commuters from Platform No.3/4 to east side. Passengers can also use the North and Middle FOBs during this period. 

Western Railway announced that West side 2 spans of Vile Parle stn south FOB were closed for major repairs on 5/6.4.19 night and commuters are using it from PF 3/4 to east. Since slab of this FOB is not good, it is decided to close COMPLETE FOB from night of 7/4/19 for safety of passengers and train movement.
