MAJOR TRAIN BLOCKS 2019

Indian Railway is conducting major train blocks for various reasons including rail maintenance, over bridge maintenance, platform renovation, doubling works, due to heavy rain etc. Even though we are updating the train cancellation details daily in some other pages, for more conveniences of readers we decided to mention the full details of the blocks with mentioning of station name , date, name of the railway zone which announced the blocks etc.

However Railway is causing inconvenience to the passengers, they are eager to restore the cancelled trains as early as possible. Here we are uploading major train blocks by various zones of Indian Railway under one page on day to day basis.

SIGNAL FAILURE AT GOREGAON : TRAIN BLOCK : 22.05.2019

Western Railway announced that due to technical glitch in signalling at Goregaon at 7.05 am, train movement was affected. It has been restored at 07.50 am. Trains will be delayed for some time due to this. Suburban train services were disrupted for almost 45 minutes due to signal failure at Goregaon on Western Railway (WR) on Wednesday morning. Even though the signal was restored, trains were running late by almost 30 to 45 minutes. Due to delays, there was huge overcrowding at all the major stations as the incident happened at the onset of morning peak hour.


CHAKRADHARPUR DIVISION : TRAFFIC-CUM-POWER BLOCK : 23.05.2019

South Eastern Railway announced that in view of 6 hours 30 minutes (from 08.00 hrs. to 14.30 hrs.) Traffic-cum-Power Block o­n 23.05.2019 (Thursday)for launching of six Limited Height Subways between Bamra-Dharuadih and Dharuadih-Bagdehi in Rourkela-Jharsuguda section over Chakradharpur Division, the train services will be regulated as under :–

  • Train No·58111 Tatanagar-Itwari Passenger will be rescheduled to leave Tatanagar at 08.20 hrs. instead of 06.30 hrs. o­n 23.05.2019.

  • Train No·12261 Mumbai CSMT-Howrah Duronto Express will be rescheduled to leave Mumbai CSMT at 18.40 hrs. instead of 17.15 hrs. o­n 22.05.2019.
  • Train No·13287 Durg-Rajendranagar South Bihar Express will be rescheduled to leave Durg at 08.25 hrs. instead of 07.25 hrs. o­n 23.05.2019.

NON – INTERLOCKING WORK : 18.05.2019 – 19.06.2019 : DANAPUR STATION

South Western Railway announced that Trains as detailed below will be Cancelled / Rescheduled due to Non – Interlocking work from 18.05.2019 to 19.06.2019 at Danapur Station.

  • Train No. 22351 Patliputra – Yesvantpur Express commencing journey from Patliputra o­n 07.06.2019 and 14.06.2019 will be cancelled.
  • Train No. 22352 Yesvantpur – Patliputra Express commencing journey from Yesvantpur o­n 10.06.2019 and 17.06.2019

RESCHEDULE: –

  • Train No. 12742 Patna – Vasco – Da – Gama Express commencing journey from Patna o­n 15.06.2019 is scheduled to depart at 14:00 hrs will be rescheduled to depart at 16:30 hrs.

Trains as detailed below will be Partially cancelled due to extension of construction of washable apron of line no. 2 at Jodhpur station up to 25.05.2019: –

  • Train No. 16507 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru Express commencing journey o­n 23.05.2019 and 25.05.2019 will be partially cancelled between Jodhpur – Bhagat Ki Kothi.
  • Train No. 16508 KSR Bengaluru – Jodhpur Express commencing journey o­n 20.05.2019 and 22.05.2019 will be partially cancelled between Bhagat Ki Kothi – Jodhpur.
  • Train No. 16533 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru Express commencing journey o­n 22.05.2019 will be partially cancelled between Jodhpur – Bhagat Ki Kothi.

TRAFFIC BLOCK : SECUNDERABAD – KAZIPET JN SECTION : 23.06.2019

South Central Railway announced that due to Traffic Block for construction ROB between Bhongir – Raigir stations in Secunderabad – Kazipet Jn Section, the following trains are cancelled/ rescheduled/regulated as detailed below:-

Cancellation of Trains:

  • Train no. 67277 Falaknuma – Jangaon MEMU Passenger is cancelled o­n 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 30th May and 23rd June, 2019
  • Train no. 67278 Jangaon – Falaknuma MEMU Passenger is cancelled o­n 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 28th 30th May and 23rd June, 2019

Reschedule of Trains:

  • Train No. 17202 Secunderabad – Guntur Golconda Express Scheduled to depart Secunderabad at 13.00 hrs o­n 20th May, 2019 is rescheduled to depart at 14.30 hrs o­n the same day.

Regulation of Trains:

  • Train No. 17208 Vijayawada – Sainagar Shiridi Express will be regulated enroute for 35 minutes o­n 21st May, 2019 and for 50 minutes o­n 28th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 17206 Kakinada Town – Sainagar Shiridi Express will be regulated enroute for 50 minutes o­n 22nd, 27th May and 23rd June, 2019.

KHAR AND SANTACRUZ : SUBWAY CLOSED : FROM 20.05.2019

Western Railway announced that Subway No.27 at Golibar between Khar and Santacruz will remain closed for road traffic from 00.00 hrs of 20/21.05.2019 for approx 4 days due to PSC slab launching work. Arrangement has been made for diverting the traffic via adjoining flyover bridge and subway.


HUBBALLI DIVISION : CANCELLATION / REGULATION OF TRAINS : UPTO 30.05.2019

South Western Railway announced that following trains will be Cancelled / Regulated due to safety related / Non – Interlocking works for commissioning of doubling of track between Alnawar – Tavaragatti – Nagaragalli – Devarai stations i.e. 21 Kms o­n Hubballi – Londa section over Hubballi Division as detailed below: –

CANCELLATION: –

  • Train No. 51419 / 51420 Miraj – Hubballi – Miraj Passenger commencing journey from 22.05.2019 to 30.05.2019 will be cancelled.

REGULATION: –

  • Train No. 11304 Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur – Manuguru Express commencing journey o­n 22.05.2019 and 23.05.2019 will be regulated for 45 minutes and 60 minutes respectively at enroute stations.
  • Train No. 11047 Miraj – Hubballi Express commencing journey o­n 26.05.2019 and 27.05.2019 will be regulated for 130 minutes at enroute stations.
  • Train No. 16589 KSR Bengaluru – Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur Express commencing journey o­n 26.05.2019 and 27.05.2019 will be regulated 10 minutes at enroute stations.

MYSURU AND BENGALURU DIVISION : NON – INTERLOCKING WORK : 29.05.2019

South Western Railway announced that following trains will be Cancelled / Partially Cancelled / Diverted / Regulated / Rescheduled due to Non – Interlocking work for commissioning of doubling of track i.e. 18 Kms between Tumakuru – Mallasandra – Gubbi Stations o­n Tumakuru – Arsikere Sections over Mysuru and Bengaluru Division as detailed below: –

  • Train No. 56227 KSR Bengaluru – Shivamogga Town Passenger commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru from 22.05.2019 to 28.05.2019 will be cancelled.
  • Train No. 56228 Shivamogga Town – KSR Bengaluru Passenger commencing journey from Shivamogga Town from 23.05.2019 to 29.05.2019 will be cancelled.
  • Train No. 16578 Harihar – Yesvantpur Express commencing journey from Harihar on 23.05.2019, 24.05.2019 and 29.05.2019 will be cancelled.

REGULATION: –

  • Train No. 17325 Hubballi – Ashokapuram Express commencing journey from Hubballi o­n 22.05.2019 and 27.05.2019 will be regulated for 55 minutes at enroute stations.
  • Train No. 17316 Vellankanni – Vasco – Da – Gama Express commencing journey from Vellankanni o­n 21.05.2019 will be regulated for 45 minutes at enroute stations.
  • Train No. 17310 Vasco – Da – Gama – Yesvantpur Express commencing journey from Vasco – Da – Gama on 25.05.2019 and 27.05.2019 will be regulated for 60 minutes at enroute stations.
  • Train No. 12725 KSR Bengaluru – Dharwad Express commencing journey o­n from KSR Bengaluru o­n 27.05.2019 will be regulated for 60 minutes at enroute stations.

RESCHEDULE: –

  • Train No. 12725 KSR Bengaluru – Dharwad Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru from 22.05.2019 to 28.05.2019 will be rescheduled by 60 minutes.
  • Train No. 12777 Hubballi – Kochuveli Express commencing journey from Hubballi o­n 21.05.2019 and 29.05.2019 will be rescheduled by 120 minutes.
  • Train No. 18112 Yesvantpur – Tata Nagar Express commencing journey from Yesvantpur o­n 26.05.2019 will be rescheduled by 90 minutes.

DIVERSION: –

  • Train No. 22685 Yesvantpur – Chandigarh Express commencing journey from Yesvantpur o­n 22.05.2019 will be diverted to run via Yesvantpur, Nelamangala, Hassan, Arsikere.
  • Train No. 56515 KSR Bengaluru – Hubballi Passenger commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru from 23.05.2019 to 29.05.2019 will be diverted to run via Yesvantpur, Nelamangala, Hassan.

  • Train No. 12726 Dharwad – KSR Bengaluru Express commencing journey from Dharwad o­n 28.05.2019 and 29.05.2019 will be diverted to run via Arsikere, Hassan, Nelamangala, Yesvantpur.
  • Train No. 19667 Udaipur – Mysuru Express commencing journey from Udaipur o­n 27.05.2019 will be diverted to run via Arsikere, Hassan, Nelamangala, Yesvantpur.

CHENNAI – CHENNAI BEACH SECTION : LINE BLOCK/POWER BLOCK : FROM 17.05.2019 TO 22.05.2019

Southern Railway announced that Line Block and Power Block is permitted in Chennai – Chennai Beach section at Chennai Beach and Royapuram yards from 23.30 hrs to 03.30 hrs (4 hours) from 17.05.2019 to 22.05.2019 for machine packing of points and crossovers. Details of the Block and repercussion of train services are given below.

Change of originating / Destination station:

  • Train No.42608 Gummudipundi – Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Gummudipundi at 21.40 hrs will be partially cancelled between Korukkupet and Chennai Beach and will instead be diverted to MMC from 17th to 21st May, 2019.
  • Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs will leave at 01.25 hrs from MMC instead of Chennai Beach from 18th to 22nd May, 2019

CLOSURE OF BEASANT NAGAR PASSENGER RESERVATION CENTRE and OPENING OF NEW PRS COUNTER AT KASTURBA NAGAR RAILWAY STATION

Southern Railway announced that the Passenger Reservation Centre at Rajaji Nagar, in Beasant Nagar will be closed with effect from 19.05.2019 (SUNDAY) o­nwards due to administrative reasons. In lieu of this, a new PRS Counter will be opened o­n and from 20th May 2019 at Kasturba Nagar Railway Station o­n MRTS Section.

The new PRS counter at Kasturba Nagar Railway Station will function in two shifts to the following timings :-

  • Morning Shift : 08.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs.
  • Evening Shift : 14.15 hrs to 20.00 hrs.

KALYAN AND KASARA : INTEGRATED BLOCK : 19.5.2019

Central Railway will announced that Railway will operate special traffic and power blocks o­n Up and Dn lines between Kalyan and Kasara from 11.15 am to 2.45 pm o­n 19.5.2019 for carrying out multiple activities, such as dismantling and launching of FOB Girders, distressing of track, removal of redundant booms, etc. as under:

Following works will be carried out during the block period: –

  • Dismantling of FOB Girder at Shahad
  • Launching of girders for 6 meter wide FOB at Titwala by using 150 MT Road Crane
  • Dismantling of 14.70 meter long old FOB at Asangaon
  • Launching of 4 Girders for single span of 6 meter wide new FOB o­n PF at Thansit
  • Removal of offloaded portal and anchor structures between Asangaon and Kasara stations

Due to this block, the train running pattern will be as under:

  • Dn and Up suburban services will remain suspended between Kalyan and Kasara stations during the block period.

Central Railway announced that Railway will decided to operate special traffic blocks o­n Neral – Matheran section for various engineering works from Monday to Friday except public holidays from 20.5.2019 onwards till further advice. ENGINEERING AND SAFETY MAINTENANCE WORK : TRAIN CANCELLATION UPTO 31.05.2019

South Central Railway announced that due to engineering and safety maintenance works, the following trains are cancelled / partially cancelled as detailed below: –

  • Train No. 57136 Kazipet – Ajni Passenger is cancelled from 15th to 31st May, 2019.
  • Train No. 57135 Ajni – Kazipet Passenger is cancelled from 16th May to 1st June, 2019.

DANAPUR STATION : TRAIN BLOCK : 28.05.2019 – 19.06.2019

East Central Railway announced that the operation of some trains will be affected from 28 May 2019 to 19 June 2019 due to the work on the Danapur station to increase the capacity, including the comprehensive upgradation of infrastructure and upgradation of easy rail operations. South Central Railway announced that due to operational reasons the following passenger trains are Partially Cancelled as detailed below:

  • Train No. 57474 Bodhan – Mahbubnagar passenger train is partially cancelled between Shadnagar and Mahbubnagar stations from 12th May to 11th June, 2019.
  • Train No. 57456 Mahbubnagar – Kacheguda passenger train is partially cancelled between Mahbubnagar and Shadnagar stations from 12th May to 11th June, 2019.
  • Train No. 57307 Kacheguda-Medchal passenger is partially cancelled between Bolarum and Medchal from 10th May to 9th June, 2019.
  • Train No. 57308 Medchal – Kacheguda passenger is partially cancelled between Medchal and Bolarum from 10th May to 9th June, 2019.

REGULATION OF SER TRAINS : UPTO 01.06.2019

South Eastern Railway announced that in view of o­n-going various modernization and safety related works in different sections of South Eastern Railway and South East Central Railway, the following trains will be cancelled/short terminated/short originated:-

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS

  • Train No.68028 Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU Passenger will remain cancelled from Sambalpur from 01.05.2019 to 31.05.2019.
  • Train No.68031 Jharsuguda-Sambalpur MEMU Passenger will remain cancelled from Jharsugudafrom 01.05.2019 to 31.05.2019.
  • Train No.68029 Rourkela-Jharsuguda MEMU Passenger will remain cancelled from Rourkela from 01.05.2019 to 31.05.2019.

SHORT TERMINATION and SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAIN UP TO 31.05.2019

  • Train No.58118 Gondia-Jharsuguda Passenger leaving Gondia every Wednesday will be short terminated at Bilaspur and will run as 58117 Jharsuguda-Gondia Passenger from Bilaspur. Therefore 58117/58118 Gondia-Jharsuguda-Gondia Passenger will remain cancelled between Bilaspur-Jharsuguda-Bilaspur.
  • Train No.58117 Jharsuguda-Gondia Passenger leaving Jharsuguda every Wednesday will remain cancelled from Jharsuguda.
  • Train No.58111 Tatanagar-Itwari Passenger leaving Tatanagar every Saturday will be short terminated at Jharsuguda and will run back as 58112 Itwari-Tatanagar Passenger from Jharsuguda by rescheduling 1 hour from Jharsuguda. Therefore 58111/58112 Tatanagar-Itwari-Tatanagar passenger will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda-Itwari-Jharsuguda.
  • Train No.58112 Itwari-Tatanagar Passenger leaving Itwari every Friday will remain cancelled between Itwari and Jharsuguda.
  • Train No.58113 Tatanagar-BilaspurPassenger leaving Tatanagar every Wednesday and Saturday will be short terminated at Jharsuguda and will run back as 58114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Passenger from Jharsuguda. Therefore 58113/58114 Tatanagar-Bilaspur-Tatanagar Passenger will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Jharsuguda every Thrusday and Sunday.
  • Train No.58114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Passenger leaving Bilaspur every Thursday and Sundaywill remain cancelled between Bilaspuri and Jharsuguda upto 01.06.19.

BHAYANDER : FOB CLOSED : 02.05.2019 – 31.05.2019

Western Railway announced that in view of safety, East side 2 spans of Bhayander(south) FOB will be closed from 2/5 to 31/5/19 for major repair/strengthening. During this period passengers can use other 3 FOBs, available for east-west connectivity. Passengers on PF -4 may also use south FOB towards west side.


VIDYAVIHAR – GURU TEG BAHADUR NAGAR STATIONS : CLOSURE FOOT OVER BRIDGE : FROM 30.04.2019

Central Railway announced that Staircase of two old Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), o­ne each at Vidyavihar and Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar station will be closed for public use from 30.04.2019.

At Vidyavihar station, the old 2.44 metre steel ‘N’ type FOB at CSMT end and connecting to Vidyavihar station East to West and staircase access to Platform No. 1 and 2 will be closed from 30.04.2019, as the new 5 metre FOB constructed parallel and adjacent to the old FOB is already opened for Public Use. Passengers are requested to use the newly opened FOB.

At Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar (GTBN) station, the old 2.44 metre steel ‘N’ type FOB at Kurla end connecting GTBN Station East and staircase access to Platform No. 1 and 2 will be closed from 30.04.2019, as the new 6 metre wide FOB constructed parallel and adjacent to the old FOB is already opened for Public Use. Passengers are requested to use the newly opened FOB.


THANE STATION : CLOSING OF STAIRCASE OF FOB TO PAY AND PARK FROM PLATFORM NO.1 : 27.04.2019 – 26.05.2019

Central Railway announced that due to the construction of 1st floor above the existing Pay and Park building adjacent to Platform No. 1 at Thane Railway Station, the existing CSMT end Foot Over Bridge Staircase towards Platform No. 1 through Pay and Park building will be closed from 27.04.2019 to 26.05.2019. Passenger are requested to use the escalators for going down to Platform No.1 from the FOB during the closure period. Passengers wanted to go to other Platforms and to the east side of Thane Station can use other FOBs available at Kalyan end of Platform No. 1 during this period.


SECUNDERABAD – DHONE SECTION : TRAFFIC BLOCK

South Central Railway announced that Traffic block imposed in order to facilitate track maintenance works between Itikyala- Manopad Stations o­n Secunderabad – Dhone Section from 25th April, 2019 to 4th June, 2019. Consequently, the following Passenger/Express Trains o­n the dates mentioned are regulated/rescheduled as detailed below:-

  • Train No.57425 Kacheguda – Guntakal Passenger will be regulated between Kacheguda – Itikyala stations for 1 Hour 24 Minutes o­n 28th, 30th April, 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th May, 2nd and 4th June, 2019
  • Train No.17024 Kurnool City – Secunderabad Tungabhadra Express will be regulated between Kurnool City – Manopad stations for 20 Minutes o­n 28th, 30th April, 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th May, 2nd and 4th June, 2019
  • Train No. 57426 Guntakal – Kacheguda Passenger will be regulated between Guntakal – Manopad stations for 2 Hours 45 Minutes o­n 25th, 27th April, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th,16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th and 30th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77282 Kacheguda – Guntur DEMU Passenger will be regulated between Kacheguda – Itikyala stations for 51 Minutes o­n 25th, 27th April, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th,16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th and 30th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 17023 Secunderabad – Kurnool City Tungabhadra express will be regulated between Gadwal – Manopad stations for 20 Minutes o­n 25th April, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th May, 2019.

Trains Rescheduled:

  • Train No. 17615 Kacheguda – Madurai weekly express scheduled to depart Kacheguda at 6.00 hrs o­n 27th April, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th May, 2019 is rescheduled to depart at 08.30 hrs o­n the same days

TRAFFIC BLOCK : CANCELLATION/PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS : UPTO 20.07.2019

South Central Railway announced that due to Engineering and safety related maintenance work the following trains are cancelled/partially cancelled as detailed below: –

Cancellation of Trains

  • Train No. 77271 Kakinada Town – Kotipalli Rail Bus is cancelled from 21st April to 20th July, 2019.
  • Train No. 77272 Kotipalli Rail Bus – Kakinada Town is cancelled from 21st April to 20th July, 2019.

Partial Cancellation of trains

  • Train No. 77241 Narasapur – Rajahmundry DEMU passenger is partially cancelled between Nidadavolu and Rajahmundry stations from 21st April to 15th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77242 Rajahmundry – Bhimavaram DEMU is partially cancelled between Rajahmundry and Nidadavolu from 22nd April to 16th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77293 Bhimavaram – Rajahmundry DEMU is partially cancelled between Nidadavolu and Rajahmundry from 21st April to 15th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77294 Rajahmundry – Narasapur DEMU is partially cancelled between Rajahmundry and Nidadavolu from 22nd April to 16th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77237 Bhimavaram – Rajahmundry DEMU is partially cancelled between Nidadavolu and Rajahmundry from 21st April to 15th May, 2019.
  • Train No. 77238 Rajahmundry – Bhimavaram DEMU is partially cancelled between Rajahmundry and Nidadavolu from 21st April to 15th May, 2019.

CLOSURE OF FOB OF MUMBAI SUBURBAN SECTION : 13.04.2019 to 11.07.2019

Western Railway announced that a new 10 metre wide FOB (Foot Over Bridge) has been commissioned at Nallasopara station (North) on 6th April, 2019 on the account of replacing the old one. Hence, the south staircase on platform No.4 of old FOB will be closed from 13th April, 2019 for passengers use to improve circulating area of staircase of new FOB. The North staircase of existing FOB is also available for passengers. 

Similarly, a new 10 metre wide FBO has been commissioned at Naigaon station on 6th April, 2019 on the account of replacing the old one. Hence, the existing old FOB wlll now be closed from 13th April, 2019 and commuters may make use of the new FOB

The staircase (East/South) from Tilak Road Over Bridge at Dadar statin will remain closed for 3 months for major repairing/strengthening work with effect from 13.04.2019 to 11.07.2019. During this period passengers may use the new FOB on North side including the East skywalk to east side circulating area. 


MEGA BLOCK : BHOPAL DIVISION : 01.04.2019 to 30.06.2019

West Central Railway announced that Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at Katni-Bina-Katni section of Jabalpur Mandal, 05 hours on Saturday and Sunday and every Tuesday on the Bina-Guna segment of Bhopal division, Friday will be 02: 30 hours of Mega Block. The following vehicles will be cancelled / partial cancelled / reschedule during this time.


VILE PARLE STATION : FOB CLOSED

Western Railway announced that West side two spans of South Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Vile Parle station of Mumbai Suburban section of Western Railway will remain close for 3 months for major repairing with effect from 6th April, 2019. This FOB will remain open for commuters from Platform No.3/4 to east side. Passengers can also use the North and Middle FOBs during this period. 

Western Railway announced that West side 2 spans of Vile Parle stn south FOB were closed for major repairs on 5/6.4.19 night and commuters are using it from PF 3/4 to east. Since slab of this FOB is not good, it is decided to close COMPLETE FOB from night of 7/4/19 for safety of passengers and train movement.


MALAD RAILWAY STATION : FOB CLOSED

Western Railway announced that MCGM FOB at north side of Malad Railway station will be closed from 29th March to 28th June 2019 for major repairing and strengthening. During this period, passengers may use Railway north FOB at Malad station . Inconvenience caused is highly regretted.

Western Railway announced (on 05.04.2019) that it is stated that all three Railway FOBs at Malad station are functional including 10 meters wide North FOB and Middle FOB, both connecting East to West. South FOB connects the West. However, the work of North MCGM FOB at Malad station is being carried out by Western Railway on deposit basis while the South MCGM FOB is closed recently by MCGM BMC for repairs in view of Safety of commuters.


OPERATION REASONS : CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL TRAINS : 30.06.2019

Southern Railway announced that the following special trains are cancelled due operation reasons.

  • Train No. 06031 Chennai Egmore – Kollam Tri-Weekly Special fare specials leaving Chennai Egmore o­n Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 01.04.2019 to 28.06.2019 (total 39 trips) is cancelled.
  • Train No. 06032 Kollam – Chennai Egmore Tri-Weekly Special fare specials leaving Kollam o­n Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 02.04.2019 to 30.06.2019 (total 39 trips) is cancelled.

DADAR : FOB CLOSED FOR WORK : FROM 17.03.2019

Western Railway announced that the Dadar South MCGM FOB was inspected by Senior Officers of WR on 15 March,19 and it was decided that the Ramp at PF-1 and Staircase at Pf-2/3 be closed temporarily for safety of passengers. The staircase will be closed for 13 days for repairing/strengthening of same from 17th March to 29th March 2019.

Likewise, the Ramp of Pf-1 will be closed for 90 days for rebuilding I.e from 17th March to 16th June 2019. During this period the passengers may use railway south FOB. The main FOB will be available to commuters for crossing from east to west and vice versa.


CHARNI ROAD : FOB CLOSED FOR REPAIRING WORK

North staircase of FOB at platform no 4 of Charni Road station will remain closed for 2 months for repairing work

Western Railway announced that North staircase of foot over bridge at platform no 4 of Charni Road station will remain closed for 2 months from 9th March, 2019 for major repairing and strengthening work. During this period, passengers may use south side staircase at platform no 4 of this foot over bridge.
