Our Honorable Railway Minister, Govt. of India - Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu inaugurated free Wi-Fi service for common peoples on Mumbai Central Railway station on Friday , 22nd January 2016 at 2:00 PM. This is considered to be one of the remarkable moments for the Indian Railways History. Railway completed this project on promised time period also. So we can expect the other 99 stations Wi-Fi also will implement soon as railway promised the same to be completed before 2017.

- Now you will receive one OTP.

Sundar Pichai , chief of Google inc, announced Google's plans for Indian Railway. Google will invest heavily in India not only for enabling internet access across the country but also for making a developed India in all sense.

Google plans for Indian Railway
Earlier 2015 year Google announced a project to connect 400 Railway stations in the country through Wi-Fi along with RailTel, the telecom arm of Indian Railway.
RailTel Corporation of India - Started in September 2000, it is a Miniratna enterprise of Government of India focusing on providing broadband and VPN services. It's main objective is to create nation wide broadband, telecom and multimedia network, to modernize Train Control Operation and Safety System of Indian Railways. RailTel's network passes through around 5,000 stations across the country.
Project is on track and the first 100 stations will be connected by the end of 2016 and Google is currently running a pilot at the Mumbai Central station which is expected to go live by January 2016.
