Indian Railway is conducting train block for various reasons including rail maintenance, over bridge maintenance, platform renovation, doubling works, due to heavy rain etc. Even though we are updating the train cancellation details daily in some other pages, for more conveniences of readers we decided to mention the full details of the block with mentioning of station name , date, name of the railway zone which announced the block etc. 

However Railway is causing inconvenience to the passengers, they are eager to restore the cancelled the trains as early as possible.

LUCKNOW DIVISION : TRAFFIC BLOCK 

Cancellation /Diversion/Regulation of Trains Due To Traffic Block for the provision of 02 Limited Height Subways on Lucknow-Raebareli-Pratapgarh-Varanasi section of Lucknow Division on Northern Railway .
Northern Railway announced that due to 05.30 hrs Traffic Blocks,for the provision of 02 Limited Height Subways between Gangaganj-Harchandpur and Suwansa-Gaura Stations on Lucknow-Raebareli-Pratapgarh-Varanasi section of Lucknow Division on Northern Railway on 18.06.2017, the following trains will be Cancelled /Short terminated/ Diverted  during block as under:
Cancellation of Trains on 18.06.2017

  • The 54293/54294 Pratapgarh-Lucknow-Pratapgarh Passenger trains Journey Commencing on  18.06.2017 will remain cancelled.
  • The 54255/54256 Varanasi-Lucknow- Varanasi Passenger trains Journey Commencing on 18.06.2017 will remain cancelled .
  • The 54292 Pratapgarh-Varanasi and 54265 Varanasi-Sultanpur Passenger trains Journey Commencing on 18.06.2017 will remain cancelled.
  • The 14202/14201 Raebareli-Jaunpur-Raebareli Express train Journey Commencing on 18.06.2017 will remain cancelled.

Diversion of Trains During Block

  • The 13006/13005 Amritsar-Howrah-Amritsar Punjab Mail Journey Commencing on 17.06.2017 will be diverted to run via Lucknow- Sultanpur-Varanasi/ Varanasi- Sultanpur- Lucknow.
  • The 13430 Anand Vihar Terminal-Malda Town Weekly Express train Journey Commencing on 17.06.2017 will be diverted to run via Lucknow-Utratia-Sultanpur-Varanasi.

Regulation of Trains


  • The 14265 Varanasi-Dehradun Express train Journey Commencing on 18.06.2017 will be regulated for 50 minutes enroute.

CHENNAI : CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES

Southern Railway announced that due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between Vyasarpadi – Villivakkam in Chennai – Arakkonam section, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th June, 2017 as detailed below.

  • Train No.43001 MMC – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave MMC at 00.15 hrs on 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th June, 2017, will be diverted to run on fast line from Vyasarpadi yard and consequently will not stop at Vyasarpadi Jiva, Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil and Annanur.
  • Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs on 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th June, 2017, will be diverted to run on fast line from Vyasarpadi yard and consequently will not stop at Vyasarpadi Jiva, Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil, Annanur, Hindu College and Pattabiram.

DHANBAD - CHANDRAPURA SECTION : MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS CLOSES TRAFFIC 


Indian Railway announced through a press release that due to Jharia Coal Field Fire and acting on subsequent advisory received from Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Railways has  decided to stop the operation of goods and passenger traffic on Dhanbad-Chandrapura Railway line under East Central Railway w.e.f. 15.06.2017. Keeping in view the safety of passengers, Ministry of Railways has diverted 7 trains, cancelled 13 Mail Express Trains and 6 passenger trains. 

Member Traffic, Railway Board Mohd Jamshed conducted a Press Conference in Rail Bhavan on 12.06.2017 to brief about this development. He informed that on an average 11 pairs of Mail/Express and 6 pairs of passenger trains run on the section daily. Special counters to facilitate refunds as per extant rules will be provided for the affected passengers.  He reiterated that all efforts would be made to minimize passenger inconvenience. The details of the diverted and cancelled trains are as follows:

  • Train Nos.12019/20 - Shatabdi Express - Howrah to Ranchi - Frequency is 6 Days a week - Diverted Route is Dhanbad-Gomoh-Chandrapura

BILESHWAR - RAJKOT : ENGINEERING BLOCK


Western Railway announced that movement of few trains will be affected due to Engineering block on 10th June, 2017.

In order to carry out work of the work of de-launching of Girder for elimination of Level Crossing Gate No.114 between Bileshwar - Rajkot section of Rajkot Division, a 5 hours and 30 minutes block will be taken by Engineering department on Saturday i.e 10.06.2017 from 02.10 hrs to 07.40 hrs in the morning. As a result, movement of following trains will be affected as under. 

  • Train No.19017 Bandra - Jamnagar Saurashtra Janta Express departing from Bandra Terminus on 09.06.2017 will halt for 1 hour and 30 minutes between Viramgam - Bileshwar on 10.06.2017 and then proceed further towards Jamnagar. It is expected to reach Jamnagar late by 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Train No.22960 Jamnagar - Surat Intercity Express of 10.06.2017 has been rescheduled to depart 1 hour and 30 minutes late from Jamnagar in the morning at 06.15 hrs instead of its regular time of 04.45 hrs.
  • Train No.22907 Madgaon - Hapa Mail Express train departing from Madgaon on 09.06.2017 will halt at Bileshwar station on 10.06.2017 for 15 minutes and then proceed further towards Hapa.
  • Train No.59207 Bhavnagar - Okha Local deprarting from Bhavnagar on 09.06.2017 will short terminated at Wankaner and thus will remain partially cancelled between Wankaner - Okha.
  • Train No.59208 Okha - Bhavnagar Local of 10.06.2017 will start from Rajkot instead of Okha and will remain partially cancelled between Okha - Rajkot.
  • Train No.59548 Okha - Ahmedabad Fast Passenger departing from Okha on 09.06.2017 will be short terminated at Rajkot and thus will remain partially cancelled between Rajkot - Ahemdabad.
  • Train No.59547 Ahmedabad - Okha Fast Passenger of 10.06.2017 will start from Rajkot instead of Ahmedabad and thus will remain partially cancelled between Ahmedabad - Rajkot.

LINE BLOCK : LACHYAN - TADWAL

South Western Railway announced that Railway has permitted Line Block of 3 hours on daily basis for 90 days from 07th June, 2017 to 18th September, 2017 except every Sundays, between Lachyan and Tadwal stations for maintenance work. As such,

  • Train No.56904, Dharwad - Solapur Passenger is partially cancelled between Vijayapura - Solapur till 18th September, 2017 except every Saturday. 
  • Train No.56905, Solapur - Hubballi Passenger is partially cancelled between Solapur - Vijayapura till 19th September, 2017 except every Sunday.

POWER/TRAFFIC BLOCK : MEERUT CITY - DAURALA

Regulation/Rescheduling of Trains from 3.6.17 to 13.6.17 Due To Power and Traffic Block between Meerut City-Daurala Stations on Ghaziabad-Meerut City-Saharanpur section of Delhi Division on Northern Railway .

Northern Railway announced that due to 02.00 hrs Power and Traffic Block from 01.20 pm to 03.20 pm each from 3.6.17 to 13.6.17 for TRD Construction in connection with Doubling work between Meerut City-Daurala Stations on Ghaziabad-Meerut City-Saharanpur section of Delhi Division on Northern Railway the following trains will be Regulated/Rescheduled during block as under:

Rescheduling /Regulations of Trains During Block

  • The 64561 Delhi-Ambala MEMU Train, Journey Commencing from 03.06.2017 to 13.06.2017 will  depart from Delhi Jn. at 12.30 p.m. instead of 11.25 a.m. and will be regulated for 45 minutes enroute  between  Ghaziabad-Meerut City.


Regulation of Trains During Block

  • The 14521 Delhi-Ambala Express Train Journey Commencing from 03.06.2017 to 13.06.2017 will be regulated for 30 minutes enroute  between  Ghaziabad-Meerut City.
  • The 54472 Haridwar-Delhi Passenger Train Journey Commencing from  03.06.2017 to 13.06.2017 will be regulated for 45  minutes enroute at Sakhoti Tanda. Consequently, the link train no. 54473 Delhi Jn.-New Delhi-Saharanpur passenger will start late accordingly.

PULLAMBADI - LALGUDI : CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES

Southern Railway announced that due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works between Pullambadi – Lalgudi in Villupuram – Tiruchchirappalli section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services as detailed below.
On 30.05.2017, Tuesday

  • Train No.16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express will be regulated / delayed for 30 minutes between Lalgudi – Pullambadi.

On 01.06.2017, Thursday

  • Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur express will be regulated / delayed for 20 minutes between Pullambadi - Lalgudi.
  • Train No.76841 Cuddalore Port – Tiruchchirappalli passenger train will be regulated / delayed for 30 minutes between Pullambadi - Lalgudi.

On 03.06.2017, Saturday

  • Train No.16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express will be regulated / delayed for 30 minutes between Lalgudi - Pullambadi.
  • Train No.12666 Kanniyakumari – Howrah weekly express will be regulated / delayed for 20 minutes between Lalgudi - Pullambadi.
  • Train No.76842 Tiruchchirappalli – Cuddalore Port passenger train will be regulated / delayed for 20 minutes between Lalgudi - Pullambadi.

MANAPARAI - KALPATTICHATRAM : CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES

Southern Railway announced that due to Line Block / Power Block to facilitate engineering works for commissioning of the double line section between Manaparai – Kalpattichatram in Tiruchchirappalli – Dindigul section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services as detailed below.
Changes in Express Train services

  • Train No.16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express, scheduled to pass through Dindigul and Tiruchchirappalli on 31st May, 2017 and 01st, 02nd, 03rd, 04th, 05th, 06th and 07th June, 2017 will be diverted to run via Dindigul, Karur and Tiruchchirappalliand will reach Tiruchchirappalli late by 1 hour and 40 minutes.

On 01.06.2017, Thursday

  • Train No.16352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CST express will be diverted to run via Dindigul, Karur and Tiruchchirappalli and will reach Tiruchchirappalli late by 1 hour and 55 minutes.
  • Train No.16788 Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra – Tirunelveli express (leaving Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra on 29.05.2017) and Train No.16353 Kacheguda – Nagercoil express (leaving Kacheguda o­n 31.05.2017) will be diverted to run via Karur, Dindigul (instead of Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul).

On 04.06.2017, Sunday

  • Train No.16352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CST express will be diverted to run via Dindigul, Karur and Tiruchchirappalli and will reach Tiruchchirappalli late by 1 hour and 55 minutes.

On 07.06.2017, Wednesday

  • Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur express (leaving Chennai Egmore on 07.06.2017) will be diverted to run via Tiruchchirappalli, Karur and Dindigul and will reach Tirunelveli late by 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Changes in Passenger Train services


  • Train No.56821 / 56822Mayiladuthurai – Tirunelveli – Mayiladuthurai passenger trains will be partially cancelledbetween Tiruchchirappalli – Dindigul on 31st May, 2017 and 01st, 02nd, 03rd, 04th, 05th, 06th and 07th June, 2017.

CLOSURE OF PRS ENQUIRY : NR

CLOSURE OF PRS ENQUIRY FOR THREE HOURS AND TWENTY FIVE MINUTES DURING NIGHT HOURS OF 26/27.05.2017Northern Railway announced that due to up gradation work of Delhi PRS (Computerized Passenger Reservation System), the PRS Enquiry will remain closed for 3 hours 25 minutes from 11.45 pm on 26.05.2017 to 03.10 am on 27.05.2017. Therefore, Delhi PRS and enquiries related to Delhi PRS on Telephone no. 139 will not be available during the above period.

THAN - VIRAMGAM : TRAIN BLOCK

Movement of few trains to be affected between Viramgam - Than on 27th May,2017 due to Engineering Block
Western Railway announced that in order to carry out work of limited height subway at unmanned level crossing gate No.68 between Thane - Vagadiya, 5 hours 30 minutes block will be taken by engineering department of Rajkot division on 27.05.2017 from 03.10 hrs to 08.40 hrs. As a result, three mail Express trains and one passenger train will be rescheduled at various stations and three Mail Express will halt at various station are as under.

  • Train No.19017 Bandra - Jamnagar Saurashtra Janta Express scheduled to depart from Bandra Terminus in the evening at 17.10 hrs of 26.05.2017 will be rescheduled 03 hours 15 minutes late i.e 20.25 hrs from Bandra Terminus, the train is expected to reach Jamnagar 03 hours late. 
  • Train No.22945 BCT - OKHA Saurashtra Mail Express scheduled to depart from Mumbai Central in the evening at 21.35 hrs of 26.05.2017 will be rescheduled 01 hours late from Mumbai Central, this train is expected to reach Okha 45 minutes late. 
  • Train No.22960 Jamnagar - Surat Intercity Express scheduled to from Jamnagar in the Morning at 04.45 hrs of 27.05.2017 will depart 01 hour 30 minutes late i.e 06.15 hrs from Jamnagar station.
  • Train No.59548 Okha - Ahmedabad Fast Passenger scheduled to depart from Okha at 22.10 hrs of 26.05.2017 will depart 03 hours late i.e 01.10 hrs of 27.05.2017 from Okha station.
  • Train No.22907 Madgaou - Hapa Mail Express train scheduled to depart from Madgaon station in the morning at 10.40 hrs of 26.05.2017 will halt 2 hours between Viramgam - Vagadiya station on 27.05.2017 and proceed further towards Hapa, it is expected to reach Hapa 01 hours late. 
  • Train No.16337 Okha - Ernakulam Mail Express train scheduled to depart from Okha in the morning at 04.05 hrs of 27.05.2017 will halt at Than Station for 15 minutes on 27.05.2017 and then proceed further toward Ernakulam.
  • Train No.19580 Delhi Sarairohila - Rajkot Mail Express scheduled to depart from Delhi Sarairohila in the afternoon at 13.10 hrs of 26.05.2017 will halt between Viramgam - Vagadiya for 1 hours on 27.05.2017, this train is expected to reach Rajkot 30 minutes late.

PRATAPGARH - JANGHAI SECTION : TRAFFIC BLOCK

Cancellation/ Short Termination/Diversion of Trains Due To Traffic Block for the provision of 03 Limited Height Subway on Pratapgarh-Janghai section of Lucknow Division on Northern Railway .
Northern Railway announced that due to 05.30 hrs Traffic Blocks from 05.15 am to 10.45 am ,for the provision of 03 Limited Height Subways between Janghai-Nibhapur,Badshahpur-Suwansa and Suwansa-Gaura Stations on Pratapgarh-Janghai section of Lucknow Division on Northern Railway on 28.05.2017, the following trains will be Cancelled /Short terminated/ Diverted  during block as under:

  • Train Nos.14202/14201 Raebareli-Jaunpur-Raebareli Express train Journey Commencing on  28.05.2017 will remain cancelled.
  • Train No. 54292 Pratapgarh-Varanasi and 54265 Varanasi-Sultanpur Passenger trains Journey Commencing on  28.05.2017 will remain cancelled.

Diversion of Trains During Block

  • Train No.13430 Anand Vihar Terminal-Malda Town Weekly Express train Journey Commencing on  27.05.2017 will be diverted to run via Lucknow-Utratia-Sultanpur.

Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains During Block

  • Train No.54256 Lucknow- Varanasi Passenger Train journey Commencing on  27.05.2017 will be short terminated at from Pratapgarh.
  • Train No.54255 Varanasi- Lucknow Passenger Train Journey Commencing on 28.05.2017 will short originate from Pratapgarh.

MEMARI - DEBIPUR : TRAFFIC BLOCK

Eastern Railway announced that for track maintenance work in Saktigarh - Bandel double line section 28 nights Traffic Block for 3 hours (22.35 hrs - 01.35 hrs) per night commencing from 20/21.05.2017 (Saturday/Sunday) to 16/17.06.2017 (Friday/Saturday) will be necessary on Dn Main line between Memari and Debipur stations over Howrah Division. Consequently, the following arrangements has been made on those nights. 
Diversion
Following trains will be diverted via Dankuni from Barddhaman.  

  • Train No.53050 Dn( Barddhamand d.23.46 hrs)
  • Train No.53132 Dn (Barddhaman D.00.08 hrs)
  • Train No.13106 Dn ( Barddhaman d.00.36)
  • Train No.13160 Dn(Barddhaman d.00.49 hrs on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday)

Controlling

  • Train No.13138 (Wednesdya)Train No.13156 (Tuesday , Saturday)Train No. 13158 (Thursday)/ Train No.13136 (Monday) will be controlled for 10 minutes enroute upto Memari station.



HOWRAH DIVISION : TRAFFIC BLOCK FROM 22.05.2017 TO 22.06.2017

Eastern Railway announced that for Track maintenance work on Dn and Up lines in Sakigarh - Bandel double line section the following traffic blocks will be necessary. 

  • 1 hour 30 minutes (10.55 hrs to 12.25 hrs) per day for 14 days from 22.05.2017 to 06.06.2017 excluding on 28.05.2017/Sunday and 04.06.2017/Sunday between Khanyan and Pandooah station on Up line. 
  • 1 hour 30 minutes (11.50 hrs to 13.20 hrs. per day for 08 days from 07.06.2017 to 15.006.2017 excluding on 11.06.2017 between Palsit and Memari stations on Dn line. 
  • 1 hour 30 minutes 12.10 hrs to 13.40 hrs per day for 06 days from 26.06.2017 to 22.06.2017 excluding on 18.06.2017 between Simlagarh and Pandooah stations on Dn line. Consequently, the following arrangements have been made in train running on those days. 

From 22.05.2017 to 06.06.2017 excluding on 28.05.2017 and 04.06.2017 
Short Termination and Short Origination

  • Train No.37825 will be short terminated at Bandel and will be short originated from Bandel for Howrah at 12.45 hrs.
  • Train No.37834 will be short terminated at Bainchi and will be short originated from Bainchi for Barddhaman at 12.45 hrs.

Controlling

  • Train No.13015 Up and 31151 Up will be controlled suitably enroute 
From 07.06.2017 to 22.06.2017 excluding on 11.06.2017 and 18.06.2017 
Diversion

  • Train No.13028 Dn will be diverted via Dankuni with stoppage at Kamarkundu. 

Rescheduling


  • Train No.37836 will leave Barddhaman at 13.00 hrs instead of its scheduled departure 12.25 hrs.

KATPADI - LATTERI : CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES

Southern Railway announced that due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works between Katpadi – Latteri in Katpadi – Jolarpettai section, changes will be made in pattern of train services on 20th and 21st May, 2017 as detailed below.
On 20.05.2017, Saturday

  • Train No.22637 Chennai Central – Mangalore Central West Coast Express will be regulated / delayed at Katpadi for 60 minutes and will reach Jolarpettai late by 2 hours.
  • Train No.12578 Mysuru – Darbhanga Bagmati Express will be regulated / delayed at Latteri for 1 hour and 5 minutes and will reach Gudur late by 75 minutes.

On 21.05.2017, Sunday


  • Train No.22637 Chennai Central – Mangalore Central West Coast Express will be regulated / delayed at Katpadi for 50 minutes and will reach Jolarpettai late by 2 hours.

CLOSURE OF PRS ENQUIRY : NIGHT HOURS OF 20/21.05.2017

Northern Railway announced that due to up gradation work of Delhi P.R.S. (Computerized Passenger Reservation System), the PRS Enquiry will remain closed for 6 hours 05 minutes from 10.30 pm on 20.05.2017 to 04.35 am on 21.05.2017. Therefore, Delhi PRS and enquiries related to Delhi PRS on Telephone no. 139 will not be available during the above period.

RUNNING OF TRACK MONITORING SPECIAL ON TRANS - HARBOUR ON 18/19.5.2017 AND HARBOUR LINE ON 29/30.5.2017
Central Railway announced that Railway will run Track Monitoring Special on Trans-Harbour and Harbour line for monitoring of tracks as under: -
TRANS-HARBOUR LINE on 18 /19.05.2017 (Thursday-Friday  Night)

  • Nerul - Dep.: 02.15 hrs, Thane - Arr. : 02.45 hrs
  • Thane - Dep.: 02.55 hrs, Nerul - Arr. :  03.25 hrs

HARBOUR LINE on 29 /30.05.2017 (Monday-Tuesday  Night)

  • Vashi - Dep.: 01.00 hrs, Vadala Road - Arr.: 01.30 hrs
  • Vadala Road - Dep.: 01.40 hrs, Panvel -Arr.: 02.40 hrs
  • Panvel - Dep.: 02.50 hrs, Vashi - Arr.: 03.50 hrs
Passengers are requested to note and avoid trespassing, as these specials will run non-stop on these Sections.

TRAFFIC BLOCK : MANGALURU JN. - JOKATTE SECTION 

South Western Railway announced that Railway has permitted 3 hours of Traffic Block in Mangaluru Jn. – Padil - Jokatte Section on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10th May, 2017 to 09th June, 2017 in connection with maintenance work. As such, Train No.16515 Yesvantpur- Karwar Express will be regulated for 30 minutes at Mangaluru jn. on every Monday,Wednesday and 05 minutes on every Friday during the above mentioned period.

LINE BLOCK : CHENNAI CENTRAL - GUDUR


Change in pattern of train services due to line block

Southern Railway announced that due to line block to facilitate engineering works between Ponneri and Ennore stations in Chennai Central – Gudur section from 09.35 hrs. to 11.35 hrs. from 10.5.2017 to 5.6.2017 (except Fridays), following will be the pattern of train services.

  • Train No.42013 MMC – Gummidipundi EMU train scheduled to leave MMC at 09.30 hrs. is partially cancelled between Minjur and Gummidipundi. This train will run from MMC to Minjur only.
  • Train No.42651 Velachery – Gummidipundi EMU train scheduled to leave Velachery at 08.50 hrs. is partially cancelled between Minjur and Gummidipundi.This train will run from Velachery to Minjur only.
  • Train No.42015 MMC – Gummidipundi EMU train scheduled to leave MMC at 10.25 hrs. is partially cancelled between Minjur and Gummidipundi. This train will run from MMC to Minjur only.
  • Train No.42018 Gummidipundi – MMC EMU train scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 09.50 hrs. is partially cancelled between Gummidipundiand Minjur.This train will run from Minjur to MMC only.
  • Train No.42020 Gummidipundi – MMC EMU train scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 10.50 hrs. is partially cancelled between Gummidipundiand Minjur.This train will run from Minjur to MMC only.
  • Train No.42406 Sullurupetta – Moore Market Complex (MMC) EMU train scheduled to leave Sullurupetta at 10.00 hrs. is rescheduled to leave at 10.40 hrs. (40 minutes late)
  • Train No.57240 Bitragunta – Chennai Central Passenger scheduled to leave Bitragunta at 05.15 hrs. will be regulated at Ponneri for 75 minutes and will reach late at Chennai Central.

LINE BLOCK : CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES

Southern Railway announced that due to line block to facilitate engineering works between Gudiyattam – Melpatti in Katpadi – Jolarpettai section, the following changes will be made in the pattern of train services from 06th May, 2017 to 14th June, 2017 except on Thursdays.
On 12th, 19th, 26th May, 2017 and 02nd and 09th June, 2017 (Fridays)

  • Train No.22637 Chennai Central – Mangalore Central West Coast express will be regulated / delayed enroute at Valathoor for 15 minutes and will reach Jolarpettai late by 15 minutes.

On 06th, 07th, 08th, 09th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st May, 2017 and 03rd, 04th, 05th, 06th, 07th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th June, 2017


  • Train No.22637 Chennai Central – Mangalore Central West Coast express will be regulated / delayed enroute at Gudiyattam for 45 minutes and dealt on wrong line from Gudiyattam to Valathoor. Consequently, the train will reach Jolarpettai late by 1 hour and 45 minutes.

CLOSURE OF AHERWADI HALT STATION


South Western Railway has decided to eliminate Aherwadi Halt station between Hotgi and Sulerjavalge station with effect from 01st January, 2017.In view of the above, the stoppage of Train No. 57129/57130, Vijayapura - Bolarum - Vijayapura Passenger at Aherwadi Halt Station is cancelled with effect from 01st January, 2017.

South Western Railway has decided to extend the temporary stoppages provided for the following trains at various stations, which are expiring on or after 31st December, 2016, until further advise.

  • Temporary Stoppage provided at Yeliyur and Byadarahalli for Train No.56231, Mysuru - KSR Bengaluru Passenger is extended until further advise.
  • Temporary Stoppage provided at Krishnadevaraya Halt for Train No. 56233, KSR Bengaluru - Mysuru Passenger, Train No. 56231, Mysuru- KSR Bengaluru Passenger, Train No. 56232, KSR Bengaluru- Mysuru Passenger, Train No. 56282, KSR Bengaluru- Chamarajnagar Passenger, Train No. 56281, Chamarajnagar-KSR Bengaluru Passenger and Train NO. 56237, Mysuru- KSR Bengaluru Passenger is extended until further advise.
  • Temporary Stoppage provided at Nidvanda for Train No.56913/56914, KSR Bengaluru- Hubballi-KSR Bengaluru Passengeris extended until further advise.
  • Temporary Stoppage provided at Sulerjavalgi H for Train No. 57685/57686, Solapur-Bijapur-Bagalkot-Solapur Passenger is extended until further advise.
  • Temporary Stoppage provided at Ballari Cantonment for Train NO. 57273/57274, Hubballi-Tirupati-Hubballi Fast Passenger is extended until further advise.
  • Temporary Stoppage provided at Kudala Sangama Road Halt for Train No. 06919/06920, Hubballi-Vijayapura-Hubballi Passenger and Train No. 57642, Gadag-Solapur Passengeris extended until further advise.

AHMEDABAD - HIMMATNAGAR AND SANAWAD - KHANDWA METRE GAUGE SERVICES CLOSURE

Western Railway announced that Ministry of Railways has approved permanent closure of Ahmedabad – Himmatnagar and Sanawad - Khandwa Metre Gauge sections for Gauge Conversion work. The M.G trains running on Ahmedabad – Himmatnagar section and Sanawad – Khandwa section permanently discontinued with effect from 01st January, 2017 for passenger traffic. Consequently trains running on Himmatnagar-Khed Brahma section will also be cancelled permanently, due to Gauge conversion work on Ahmedabad-Himmatnagar section.

The following M.G trains running on Ahmedabad – Himmatnagar section permanently cancelled w.e.f 01/01/2017

Partial Cancellation of trains
  • Train No. 52928/52927 Ahmedabad - Udaipur Mewar Fast Passenger will be cancelled between Ahmedabad and Himmatnagar station.
  • Train No. 19944/19943 Ahmedabad - Udaipur City Express will be cancelled between Ahmedabad and Himmatnagar station.

Details of special train traffic block announced daily by various zones of Indian Railway due to number of reasons. Now the special line block or power block will be at Madurai division, nine days train traffic block at Andheri Station under Western Railway, mega traffic block at Jodhpur division etc are announced.
