MUMBAI MEGA BLOCK HARBOUR, WESTERN, CENTRAL LINES MAY 11, 2014
Western Railways and Central Railways announced that Mumbai Local Train passengers will face a Mega Block on Sunday (11 - 05 - 2014).
BYCULLA - VIDYAVIHAR (11.20 AM TO 03.20 PM)
All DN Slow/Semi-fast services leaving Mulund from 10.39 am to 3.22 pm will be diverted on DN fast line between Mulund and Kalyan
Dn slow line services leaving Byculla from 11.04 am to 3.21 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Byculla and Vidyavihar stations, halting at Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations and further will be re-diverted on Dn slow line proper.
Up fast line services leaving Thane from 11.21 am to 3.25 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. Dn Fast line services leaving CST from 11.15 am to 2.51 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All slow locals arriving and leaving CST between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm will arrive/leave destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
NO BLOCK on HARBOUR LINE
VAITARNA / VIRAR - VASAI ROAD (00.00 AM TO 02.45 PM)A jumbo block will be taken from 23.55 hrs to 04.25 hrs on Up Slow line in the night falling between Saturday/Sunday, 10/11.05.2014 between Santacruz and Mumbai Central for maintenance of track, signalling and overhead equipment. During the block, all UP slow line trains will run on UP fast line between Santacruz and Mumbai Central. These diverted trains will not halt at Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road, Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi for want of platform. Hence, passengers can travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central Stations. All 12 car slow trains will take double halt at Khar Road and Mahim Stations. Level crossing gate no 19 will remain closed for road traffic during block period.
