IRCTC TICKET BOOKING VERIFICATION CALL

Do you know now IRCTC taken one more step for blocking the fro-dent ticket booking happened during the peak time. IRCTC is conducting verification for the passengers who book ticket between 8 A.M and 8:15 AM for verify the User id, PNR, passenger mobile number and passenger details. If they have found the details you have given are wrong from registered record will take further actions like may lead to cancellation of e-ticket and an appropriate legal action.
Currently this was done for random customers, that means you may got this call any time when you are booking the ticket on 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM. So please kept ready these information while you are booking any ticket from IRCTC Online Ticket reservation website from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM.

I think this will resolve most the wrong ticket booking during the peak time on IRCTC Ticket Booking website. What is your opinion on the same?

  1. will not be much effective...as the one who will be booking the tickets will already have the details of person for whom he has booked the ticket.
