COMPUTERISED PASSENGER RESERVATION CENTRES DUE TO HOLI FESTIVAL
On the occasion of Holi Festival on 01.3.2010 the computerized passenger centres in Delhi area will remain closed/partially closed/ work as per the programme:-

 A skeleton service will be available in morning shift at IRCA Reservation Complex, New Delhi, Delhi Jn. and Hazrat Nizamuddin Reservation Office from 08.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. All counters will remain open in the evening shift i.e. from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

However, current reservation counters will work as usual at Delhi, New Delhi & Hazrat Nizamuddin stations.

 The Sarojini Nagar, Lazpat Nagar, Okhla, Karkardooma, NOIDA, Delhi Shahdara, Ghaziabad, Naya Azadpur, Subzi Mandi, Kirti Nagar, Tuglakabad, Rohini, AIIMS, International Tourist Bureau, Gurgaon, Palam, Delhi Cantt., Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Palwal, Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Jind, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, Shamli, Moradnagar, Modinagra, Meerut City, Meerut Cantt., Muzaffarnagar, Deoband, Mansa, Kaithal, Gohana, Jhajhar, Baraut and Indira Gandhi International Airport Computerized Reservation Office will remain
CLOSED in morning shift i.e. from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. These centres will work as usual in the evening shift i.e. from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

 The Parliament House, Press Club of India, Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Delhi University, Jawahar Lal Nehru University, Tis Hazari Court, Kashmere Gate & IIT Reservation Office will remain CLOSED for the whole day.

AUTOMATED TICKETED VENDING MACHINES AT HYDERABAD AND LINGAMPALLI STATIONS
South Central Railway commissioned Automated Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM) at Hyderabad and Lingampalli stations on 26th February, 2010.

  Passengers can buy MMTS tickets , General Second Class tickets for travel by Ordinary, Mail / Express trains, and Platform tickets from these ATVMs by using Smart Cards avoiding long queues at the Booking Counters and saving their time. ATVM is an extension of Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) and has user friendly touch screen with instruction in three languages viz. Telugu, Hindi and English. ATVM generates the Ticket after deducting the fare from the Smart Card duly indicating the balance amount available. The Smart Cards can be topped up by the Passengers at the Supervisor Counters as and when required.

SEVEN SPECIAL TRAINS FOR ANNUAL CONVENTION OF HOSANNA MINISTRIES 
To clear extra rush of passengers attending Annual Convention of Hosanna Ministries at Gorantala near Guntur to be held from 3rd to 7th March, 2010, Railway will run the following Passenger special trains:-  
  • SEDUNDERABAD-GUNTUR-SECUNDERABAD PASSENGER SPECIAL TRAIN (VIA KAZIPET, VIJAYAWADA) : Secunderabad - Guntur Passenger Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 14 00 hrs on 3rd March, 2010 and arrive Guntur at 21 30 hrs on the same day. In the return direction, Guntur-Secunderabad Passenger Special Train will depart Guntur at 15 30 hrs on 7th March, 2010 and arrive Secunderabad at 23 00 hrs on the same day. This Passenger Special Train will have eight General Second Class and two Second class Luggage cum brake van coaches and will stop at all stations en-route.  
  • ANAKAPALLI-GUNTUR-ANAKAPALLI PASSENGER SPECIAL TRAIN (VIA RAJAHMUNDRY, VIJAYAWADA): Train no. 709 Anakapalli-Guntur Passenger Special Train will depart Anakapalli at 23 30 hrs on 3rd March, 2010 and arrive Guntur at 08 50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train no. 710 Guntur - Anakapalli Passenger Special train will depart Guntur at 17 30 hrs and arrive Anakapalli at 04 00 hrs on the next day. This train will have eight Mail-line Electrical Multiple Unit (MEMU) coaches and will stop at all stations en-route. 
  • VIJAYAWADA-GUNTAKAL -VIJAYAWADA PASSENGER SPECIAL TRAIN (VIA GUNTUR, NANDYAL) : Train no. 725 Vijayawada-Guntakal Passenger Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 18 30 hrs on 3rd March, 2010 and arrive Guntakal at 06 25 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train no. 726 Guntakal-Vijayawada special train will depart Guntakal at 07 30 hrs on 7th March, 2010 and arrive Vijayawada at 15 15 hrs on the same day. This train will have six sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches and will stop at all stations en-route. 
  • GUNTUR-ONGOLE PASSENGER SPECIAL TRAIN
      Train no. 711 Guntur-Ongole Passenger Special train will depart Guntur at 22 05 on 4th March, 2010 hrs and arrive Ongole at 01 45 hrs on the next day. This train will have thirteen second class chair car and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches. 

Secunderabad- Kakinada Special Trains
To clear the rush of passengers South central Railways anounced following specials
  • Train No. 0701 Secunderabad- Kakinada Special train will depart Secunderabad on 27th and 01st March, 2010, at 23 00 hrs and arrive Kakinada Town at 08.50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 0700 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Special train will depart Kakinada Town on 26th and 28th February, 2010 at 21.00 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 08.00 hrs on the next day.   Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry , Anaparti and Samalkot in both directions. These trains will have one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier , eight Sleeper Class, Two General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to 14 coaches.

Rail Budget 2010 For Tamilnadu
Union Minister Mamata Banarjee On Feb 24th, 2010 says that 14 New Trains for Tamilnadu.
which consist of a new train 'Chennai – Coimbatore Duronto Express' will be a day time point to point service between the two cities. This will be cheaper and faster compared to Rajdhani Express.
To promote tourism, special tourist trains called 'Bharat Tirth' connecting tourist towns in the State such as Madurai, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari with Mantralayam, Varanasi, Mysore, Goa, will be operated.

 Rail Budget 2010 For Karnataka
Karnataka is the first State in the country to come forward to take up railway projects on cost sharing basis. The Government plans to spend Rs.2,529.80 crore in the next five years for such projects. This year alone, Goverment plan to spend Rs.600 crore towards cost sharing projects.
Sanctioning of five new routes namely Talaguppa-Honnavara, Shimoga-Harihara, Whitefield-Kolar, Tumkur-Davanagere, Hospet-Hubli-Londa (Double Line) during this years is a welcome step.

The Karnataka Government had requested for 19 new trains during this year, out of which only the 10 following new trains have been sanctioned

Holi Special Trains CHANDIGARH - ALLAHABAD
Following special trains announced by the Northern Railways additionaly in the Holi Festival
  • The 0434 Chandigarh- Allahabad Express Special will depart from Chandigarh on Friday, 26.2.10 ( One trip) at 9.30 p.m. to reach Allahabad at 2.00p.m. the next day. While in the return direction the 0433 Allahabad - Chandigarh Express Special will depart from Allahabad on Saturday, 27.2.10 at 11.35 p.m. to reach Chandigarh at 3.15 p.m. the next day.
     The 0434/0433 Special consisting of One A.C. 2 Tier, One A.C. 3 Tier, Ten sleeper class, four general class and two luggage van coaches will stop at Ambala, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Rae-Bareilystations enroute in both the directions.

Suburban services are the lifeline of major metropolitan cities.

Suburban services will be augmented over the Mumbai area, 101
additional services are proposed to be introduced with 32 services in
Thane/Kalyan to Kasara/Karjat/Khopoli, 16 services on the Mainline, 18
services on the Harbour line and 35 services on trans-Harbour line.

Works for the improvement of Mumbai suburban area under MUTP
Phase I is likely to be completed by end of this year. Work under MUTP
Phase II has been planned and is targeted for completion by March 2014.

10 New Duroto Express Trains Announced
In the Rail Budget 2010, anounced to launch 10 more such trains in the next financial year. 
Punctuality, good service and less travel time have made Durontos operating in the New Delhi-Sealdah, Nizamuddin-Pune, Nizamuddin-Chennai and Howrah-Mumbai sectors popular.

The other reason for their popularity is that tickets come at a much cheaper rate than the premium trains Rajdhani and Shatabdi.
The feasibility study also took into account the occupancy rate of mail and express trains in the routes identified for running the Duronto trains, the official added.

Following Duronto train services would be introduced his year: 
  1. Yeswantpur (Bangalore) -Delhi (AC) (Weekly) 
  2. Mumbai-Secunderabad AC (Bi-weekly) 
  3. Pune –Howrah AC (Bi- weekly)

Indian Railways To Setup 5 Sports Academies

Indian Railways will set up five sports academies at Delhi, Secunderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai as its contribution to the encouragement of sports in the country, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee announced in Parliament on Rail Budget 2010 24th Feb. 

“We are proud of our sports persons for excellent performances. Indian Railways, a great patron of sports, is the first recipient of the newly instituted prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar, awarded for the encouragement of sports,” she said while presenting the railway budget. 

“To strengthen the present sports infrastructure, I also propose to set up five academies at Delhi, Secunderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai. It is also proposed to provide astro-turfs for the development of hockey at more places,” she said. 

Banerjee said the railways will also provide increased employment opportunities to sportspersons. 

Indian Railways, she added, will be the lead partner of the Commonwealth Games to be held here from October 3-14.

“To mark the event and also to spread the message, railways proposes to run a Commonwealth exhibition train (around the country),” she said.

Indian Railways To Setup 522 Hospitals And Diagnostic Centers
Union Railways Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Wednesday Feb  24th 2010, that with co-operation of Union Health. It was expected to setup eround 522 Hospitals and Diagnostic Centers for Railway Employess and there children.
Also in the budget of 2010 minister says that Outpatient department and diagnostic centers will be setup in various station across india

Indian Railways going to introduced a new series of train Services names 'Barth Tirth'. The main aim of this train is to promote tourism in the various part of the country. Railways will be launching 16 special 'Bharat Tirth' trains connecting popular tourist sites as also pilgrimage centres in differ
 "The running of Bharat Tirth is to emphasise our unity in diversity and bring to reality Kabiguru's (Rabindranath Tagore) words in our national anthem Punjab Sindhu Gujarat Maratha, Dravida Utkala Banga, Vindhya Himachal Yamuna Ganga," Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee said.
Presenting the 2010-11 budget in Lok Sabha, Union Railways Minister Mamata Banerjee said the trains are proposed to run on the following routes:
  1. Howrah-Gaya-Agra-Mathura-Vrindavan-New Delhi-Haridwar-Varanasi-Howrah
  2. Howrah-Chennai-Puducherry-Madurai-Rameswaram- Kanyakumari-Bangalore-Mysore-Chennai-Howrah

Indian Rail Budget 2010
Union Railways Minister Mamata Banerjee on 24th Wednesday, February 2010 presented the Rail Budget for the next fiscal in the Lok Sabha, with a special focus on the PSU’s network expansion, while leaving the freight rates untouched.

Mamata also emphasised on her ministry’s commitment to “social responsibility” and rued out privatisation of the PSU.

“Besides commercial viability, my aim is social responsibility. In fact, I lay more emphasis on the latter,” Banerjee told a packed Lok Sabha, emphasizing her commitment to the ‘aam admi’.

She added that the main aim of Railways is to unite the country through rail connectivity.

Additional Holi Special Trains 
Northern Railway has decided to run one additional Holi Special train no. 0581/0582 Barauni-Adarshnagar Delhi and revise the run of Special train nos. 0421 Patna -Anand Vihar(T) & 0423 Darbhanga- Anand Vihar(T) as per the following schedule
  1. 0581/0582 BARAUNI-ADARSHNAGAR DELHI HOLI SPECIAL TRAIN:-
    The 0581/0582 Barauni-Adarshnagar Delhi Holi special train will depart from Barauni on 25/2, 4/3, 11/3, 18/3, 25/3, 1/4 & 8/4/10 ( 7 trips) at 1.45 p.m (noon) to reach Adarshnagar at 2.10 p.m the next day. While in the return direction the 0582 Adarshnagar Delhi- Barauni special will depart from Adarshnagar on 26/2, 5/3, 12/3, 19/3, 26/3, 2/4 & 9/4 (7 trips) at 3.45 p.m to reach Barauni at 3.45 p.m the next day.
     The 0581/0582 Holi special consisting of One AC 3Tier, Nine sleeper class, Eight General class and Two brakevan coaches will stop at Shahpur Patoree, Hajipur, Sonepur, Chhapra, Siwan, Bhatni, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Lucknow, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Ghaziabad & Delhi Jn. Stations enroute in both the directions.
  2. 0421 PATNA- ANAND VIHAR (T) & 0423 DARBHANGA- ANAND VIHAR (T):-
    The 0421, will depart from Patna on revised date of 03.03.2010 instead of 28.2.2010 as scheduled earlier at 12.05 p.m (noon) to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 04.00 a.m the next day. The 0423 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Terminal will depart from Darbhanga on revised date of 3.3.10 instead of 1.3.2010 as scheduled earlier. 

DUE TO LINE BLOCK TRAINS RESCHEDULED BETWEEN OTTAKOVIL AND ARIYALUR
  Due to line block in connection with rebuilding of bridge between Ottakovil and Ariyalur on Villupuram - Tiruchchirappalli section between 12.25 hrs. to 18.25 hrs. on 24.2.2010, following will be the pattern services for the trains. 
  1. T.No.6128 Guruvayur - Chennai Egmore Express scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 20.50 hrs. on 23.2.2010 is rescheduled to leave at 22.00 hrs. on 23.2.2010 and is expected to arrive 90 minutes late at Chennai Egmore.
  2. T.No.806 Tiruchchirappalli - Cuddalore Port Jn. Passenger scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 15.05 hrs. on 24.2.2010 is rescheduled to leave at 16.30 hrs. on 24.2.2010 and will be terminated at Vriddhachalam. This train will be partially cancelled between Vriddhachalam and Cuddalore Port Jn.
  3. T.No. 833 Cuddalore Port Jn. - Vriddhachalam Passenger will be fully cancelled on 24.2.2010. 
  4. T.No.2635 Chennai Egmore - Madurai Vaigai Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 12.40 hrs. on 24.2.2010 is rescheduled to leave at 14.00 hrs. on 24.2.2010.

HOLI SPECIAL TRAIN ANNOUNCED
Northern railways run a weekly holy special train between Anand Vihar Terminus and Gaya  
  • Train No. 0385/0386 between Anand Vihar Terminus and Gaya Weekly Special train:-  The train no. 0385 Gaya- Anand Vihar Terminus Holi Special Weekly train will run on 25.02.2010 & 04.03.2010(Thursday) to depart from Gaya at 07.25 p.m. to arrive at Anand Vihar at 01.10 p.m. the next day. While its return service 0386 Anand Vihar Terminus- Gaya Holi Special Weekly train will start to run on 26.02.2010 & 05.03.2010 (Friday) at 03.30 p.m. to arrive at Gaya at 08.10 a.m. the next day. Comprising of one AC II tier, one AC III tier, Seven second sleeper, six second class coaches besides luggage vans, the 0385/0386 Weekly Holi Special train will stop at Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, Mughalsarai, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations enroute in both the directions.

New Enquiry Number 138 For Indian Railways
Indian Rail going to start New Rail enquiry number 138 soon for providing faster services to the passengers in a telephone call away. 

The railways news sources says that "The new service has receivede the nod of the department of Telecomunication and we hope to launch the service soon".
The 138 number expected to be reduce the load off the existing 139 Indian Rail enquiry number, having 8 Lakhs call daily. The paid 138 number will complement the currently in use free 139 number which is already facing the problem of clogged nerwork due to heavy traffic. So rail move to instead of single enquiry system to multiple numbers for easy accessibility.
According to the rail news announcements its going to start on Feb 26  2010 itself.

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN CHENNAI AND NAGERCOIL ANNOUNCED
  • T.No. 0625/0626 Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore (Weekly) Specials: T.No. 0625 Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Weekly Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 20.20 hrs. on Thursdays from 25.2.2010 to 25.3.2010 and arrive Nagercoil at 11 hrs. the next day. T.No. 0626 Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore Weekly Special will leave Nagercoil at 13.30 hrs. on Fridays from 26.2.2010 to 26.3.2010 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 04.15 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 4 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur. T.No.0626 will stop at Mambalam also. 

Modification In Seating For Short Trips
Indian Rail today announced that all the season ticket travelers must enter the General Coaches and the D-Reserved Coaches Only. All the long trip trains Begin and End part having D-Reserved Coaches and the season ticket persons have to enter this compartment only in the morning.
The Sleeper Ticket short trip travelers also can enter the D-Reserved coaches without any extra money other than sleeper ticket. But if we want to travel in the normal Sleeper Coaches then you have to pay extra Rs.15. According to the seat availability the Ticket Examiner will give seats and claim Rs.15 per ticket.

Howrah-Mysore Weekly Special Extended
East Coast Railway anounced that they will extend the services of 0803/0804 Howrah-Mysore-Howrah Weekly Special train up to June 2010.
0803 Howrah-Mysore weekly special train will leave Howrah at 04.10 p.m. on every Friday till 25th June 2010 and will arrive Mysore at 07.40 a.m. on every Sunday. In the return direction, 0804 Mysore-Howrah weekly special train will leave Mysore at 08.45 p.m. on every Sunday till 27th June 2010 and will arrive Howrah at 04.20 p.m. on every Tuesday.

CHENNAI AND NAGERCOIL SPECIAL TRAINS ANNOUNCED

South Central Railway plans to run special trains between Kakinada-Kotipalli on 12th and 13th February, 2010 on the occasion of Mahasivaratri. Acordingly, the trains will run as as per the following schedule:

12th FEBRUARY, 2010 
  1. Special Train No.1 will leave Kakinada at 04.00 hrs., and arrive Kotipalli at 06.00 hrs. In the return direction special train No.1 will leave Kotipalli at 06.30 hrs., and arrive Kakinada at 08.30 hrs. 
  2. Special Train No.2 will leave Kakinada at 09.00 hrs., and arrive Kotipalli at 11.00 hrs. In the return direction Special train No.2 will leave Kotipalli at 12.00 hrs and arrive Kakinada at 14.00 hrs.

Western Rail run Special Train 0989/0990 between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad . 
  • Train No 0989 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad will leave Mumbai Central every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 22.50 hrs to reach Ahmedabad at 6.00 hrs the next day from 9th Feb to 30th March 2010. Similarly, Train No 0990 will leave Ahmedabad on every Wednesday, Friday and Monday at 21.40 hrs to arrive Mumbai Central at 5.15 hrs the next day from 10th Feb to 31st March 2010. Enroute, this train will halt at Borivali, Surat and Vadodara in both directions. The train will have 2Tier AC, 3Tier AC, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

In the return direction the train in 0404 Udhampur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla special train will depart from Udhampur from 4.4.2010 to 01.07.2010 (39 trips) on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 5.50 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 4.10 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the train no. 0458 Anand Vihar Terminal-Varanasi superfast special train will depart from 2.4.2010 to 1.7.2010 (91 trips) at 05.55 p.m. to reach Varanasi at 7.30 a.m. the next day. The 0457/0458 special train consisting of One A.C. 3 Tier, Six sleeper class Three general class & two brake van coaches will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations enroute in both the directions.                                                                    
  3. 2205A/2206A HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN-DEHRADUN A.C. SPECIAL (WEEKLY) :The 2205A Hazrat Nizamuddin-Dehradun A.C. Special will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin on every Saturday from 3.4.2010 to 26.6.2010 (13 trips) at 11.55 p.m. to reach Dehradun at 5.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the train no. 2206A Dehradun- Hazrat Nizamuddin A.C. special will depart from Dehradun on every Sunday from 4.4.2010 to 27.6.2010 (13 trips) at 11.25 p.m. to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05.05 a.m. the next day.   1. The 0236A Ajmer-Haridwar-Ajmer mela special will depart from Ajmer on 11.2.2010 at 3.30 p.m. to reach Haridwar at 05.15 a.m. the next day. In the return direction the train no. 0235A Haridwar-Ajmer mela special train will depart from Haridwar on 12.2.2010 at 6.40 p.m. to reach Ajmer at 09.50 a.m. the next day.

Southern Railway will run the following Summer Special trains to meet the demands of the passengers during the ensuing summer season. 
  1. T.No. 0622/0621 Coimbatore - Chennai Central - Coimbatore (Weekly) Superfast Special:                                                                                                                                  Train No. 0622 Stations will 23.55 hrs. (Tue) Dep. Coimbatore and 08.15 hrs. (Wed) Arr. Chennai Central . Next trip train no 0621 Chennai Central Dep. 22.30 hrs. (Wed) and Coimbatore Arr. 06.50 hrs. (Thu) . Will contain 1 AC 2 tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class & 2 Luggage- cum  brake van Coaches.  And the stopages are  Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam. T.No 0622 will stop at Perambur also. T.No. 0621 will stop at Coimbatore North also. Days of services was on April 6, 13, 20, 27 ; may   4, 11, 18, 25  ; June 1, 8  From Coimbatore. And on return directions April  7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19, 26; June 2, 9.
  2. T.No. 0605/0606 Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore (Weekly) Specials:                                                                                                                                                    No. 0605  will depart from Chennai Egmore on 20.20 hrs. (Thu) Arrived  10.50 hrs. (Fri) Arr.  Train No 0606 Nagercoil Dep. 13.30 hrs. (Fri) and arrived Chennai Egmore Arr. 04.15 hrs. (Sat). Stopages are Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai , Virudunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur. T.No 0606 will stop at Mambalam also.Coaches 1 AC 2 tier, 4 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class & 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Days of Services are for  Ex. Chennai Egmore  April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 ; May 6, 13, 20, 27; June 3, 10, 17, 24 . And for  Ex. Nagercoil April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14, 21, 28; June 4, 11, 18, 25.
  3. T. No. 0603/0604 Chennai Central - Nagercoil- Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Special:
     The Train No 0604 will 16.30 hrs. (Sun) Dep Nagercoil and arrive 08.15 hrs. (Mon) Arr Chennai Central. Return Trip Train No.0603 Chennai Central Dep. 15.00 hrs. (Mon) and Nagercoil Arr. 05.15 hrs. (Tue). 1 AC 2 tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class & 2 Luggage-cum-brake van Coaches. Stopages are Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam. T.No 0604 will stop at Perambur also. Services from Ex. Nagercoil  are April  4, 11, 18, 25 ; May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 ; June 6, 13, 20, 27. And from  Ex. Chennai Central are April 5, 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; June 7, 14, 21, 28.
  4. T.No. 0631/0632 Chennai Central - Kochuveli - Chennai Central (Weekly) Superfast Specials:                                                                                                                          Train No. 0631 , 23.30 hrs. (Wed) Dep Chennai Central  and 15.40 hrs. (Thu) Arr Kochuveli. Train No 0632,  Kochuveli Dep. 20.10 hrs. (Thu) and Chennai Central Arr. 12.20 hrs. (Fri).  Contains 3 AC 2 tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class & 2 Luggage cum brake van Coaches. Stoppages Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganaseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam, Kollam and Varkala. T.No 0632 will stop at Perambur also. Services from Ex. Chennai Central are April 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19, 26; June 2. And from Ex. Kochuveli are April 8, 15, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 20, 27; and June 3.
  5. T.No. 0651/0652 Ernakulam - Bangalore - Ernakulam (Weekly) Specials
      (via. Tirupattur, Bangarapet):

     Train No. 0651, 18.50 hrs. (Mon) Dep Ernakulam Jn. and 08.30 hrs. (Tue) Arr Bangalore. And return Bangalore Dep. 17.15 hrs. (Tue) and Ernakulam Jn. Arr. 04.20 hrs. (Wed). Contains 1 AC 2 tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class & 2 Luggage cum brake van Coaches. Stopagges Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Tirupattur, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantt. Services from Ernakulam Junction are April  5, 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; June  7, 14. And on return direction Train No. 0652
    from Ex. Bangalore April 6, 13, 20, 27; May 4, 11, 18, 25; June 1, 8, 15.
  6. T.No. 0653/0654 Ernakulam - Bangalore - Ernakulam (Weekly) Specials
      (via. Tirupattur, Bangarapet):

    Train No:0653, will depart 21.15 hrs. (Thu) Dep Ernakulam Jn. and 0.00 hrs. (Fri) Arr Bangalore. On return direction Train No: 0654 Bangalore Dep. 18.50 hrs. (Fri) and Ernakulam Jn. Arr. 06.30 hrs. (Sat).Contains following bogies 1 AC 2 tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class & 2 Luggage cum brake van Coaches. Stopages
    Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Tirupattur, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantt. Services from Ex. Ernakulam Jn.  April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 20, 27 ; June 3, 10, 17 . On return directions  Ex. Bangalore April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28; June 4, 11, 18.
