Northern Rail Anounced Festival Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festive season, Railways will augment the passengers carrying capacity of the following trains as per the programme:-
  1. The 5159/5160 Chhapra-Durg-Chhapra Sarnath Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect upto 20.10.2009 while departing from Chhapra and upto 21.10.2009 while departing from Durg. 
  2. The 2586/2587 Jammu Tawi- Gorakhpur-Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect upto 19.10.2009 while departing from Gorakhpur and upto 24.10.2009 while departing from Jammu Tawi. 
  3. The 5097/5098 Barauni -Jammu Tawi – Barauni Amarnath Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect upto 20.10.2009 while departing from Jammu Tawi and upto 23.10.2009 while departing from Barauni. 
  4. The 5009/5010 Lucknow – Jabalpur – Lucknow Chitrakoot Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect upto 20.10.2009 while departing from Lucknow and upto 21.10.2009 while departing from Jabalpur. 
  5. The 5007/5008 Manduadih – Lucknow – Manduadih Krishak Express train has been augmented by one additional general class coach with immediate effect upto 20.10.2009 while departing from Manduadih and upto 21.10.2009 while departing from Lucknow.
  6. The 2015A New Delhi - Ajmer Shatabadi weekly Express special train will depart from New Delhi on every Wednesday from 30.09.09 to 28.10.09 at 6.05 a.m to reach Ajmer at 1.00 p.m(noon) the same day. While in the return direction the 2016A Shatabadi weekly Express special train will depart from Ajmer on every Wednesday from 30.09.2009 to 28.10.2009 at 03.50 p.m. to reach New Delhi at 10.40 p.m. the same day. 
  7. The 2015A/2016A New Delhi – Ajmer-New Delhi Shatabadi weekly Express special train will stop at Delhi Cantt., Alwar and Jaipur stations enroute in both the direction.
  8. 0171/0172 DADAR-GORAKHPUR- DADAR AC SUPERFAST SPECIALTRAIN 

    The 0171 Dadar-Gorakhpur AC Superfast special train (via Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow) will depart from Dadar on 13.10.09 (Tuesday) at 12.45 p.m(noon) to reach Gorakhpur at 6.45 p.m the next day. In the return direction the 0172 Gorakhpur- Dadar AC Superfast special train will depart on 14.10.09 (Wednesday) at 11.30 p.m to reach Dadar at 5.00 a.m the third day.
    Consisting of three 2nd AC cum 3rd AC, six AC 3tier, four AC 2 tier and two luggage cum brake van coaches, the 0171/0172 AC superfast special will stop at Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti stations enroute in both the directions. 
  9. 0127/0128 DADAR- VARANASI - DADAR AC SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN 

    The 0127 Dadar-Varanasi AC Superfast special train will depart from Dadar on 18.10.09 (Sunday) at 12.45 p.m(noon) to reach Varanasi at 3.45 p.m the next day. In the return direction the 0128 Varanasi - Dadar AC Superfast special train will depart on 19.10.09 (Monday) at 7.50 p.m to reach Dadar at 10.50 p.m the next day.
    Consisting of three 2ndAC cum 3rdAC, , four AC 2 tier, six AC 3tier and two luggage cum brake van coaches, the 0127/0128 ACsuperfast special will stop at Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad, Jhanghai and Bhadhoi stations enroute in both the directions.
